The cyclist did the correct actions but the driver made a very dangerous action that could have caused a KSI incident.

They wouldn't have passed a car in the same manner. The cyclist moved over to take the turn as they should. The car should have waited. Bad move by the car driver.

The cyclist is shocked at the ignorance of the motorist who insists on passing on the right while they are trying to turn right. Wait for a couple of seconds and everyone stays safe.

@Beardyface4 @SaferRoadsYorks By your calculations that is only true if the rider is riding completely inside the cycle lane in the verge or footpath as it is not measured from the wheel but from the outer edge of the person or handle bars, the outer most part.
