The Hershey Panthers had a great start to the cross country season! They brought home some medals and had a lot of strong races! Thanks to everyone that came out to support them! #hpspanthers#gopanthers
Tonight's @AlloFiber Player of the Game for @BradySchools is Abby Jurjens. The Senior finished the game against Maxwell with 5 points and had a successful game despite facing double coverage throughout the majority of the Game.
Today we participated in world kindness day by writing kind notes to other students and to staff members in the school. Watching the excitement the students had while writing these kind notes was amazing ❤️ sometimes it’s important to take a day off to do something bigger 🌎
We are asking how COVID-19 is impacting rural communities. Read a perspective from Superintendent Jane Davis of Hershey, NE, about how their foreign language program went digital: https://t.co/QX7iQCxSHx | Share your story: https://t.co/BFrJwtSbjf | @NRCSA1980 | @HersheyPanthers
For #TeacherAppreciationWeek, we're shining a light on one elementary school librarian who's basically launched a television series right from her basement! All to keep her kids tuned-in and feeling loved.
I love that my estudiantes are getting to connect with people over the state, country, and mundo 🌎!! We are playing GimKit again today at 12:30 CT / 11:30 MT
Using an online quiz tool called Gimkit, teachers from Hershey and Brady are connecting area students with those from Spain and Peru. https://t.co/tuDDVM50Y8
Fantastic time playing Gimkit with Hershey students and other area schools today! We had kids from Spain on as well and even the two kids in Lima, Peru from the host family that Señorita DaMoude lived with!
GimKit was another success today as we added even more schools to the mix! People from Spain were on and even my host brother and sister were able to get on and play from Peru 🇵🇪 #TeachingFromHome has had its benefits when connecting around the world 🌎
@MrsVascik They used 1 device and were instructed to refresh the page 20-30 seconds after the round had ended to get into the next game. It automatically puts them into the round. Gimkit also allows students to view leaderboards now so they didn’t need to see my screen!
Today we had a HUGE game of Gimkit with over 80 students from over 15 schools! This included a teacher and school from Spain! The teachers were able to zoom while the students played! So much fun! We are making the most of online learning! #TeachingOnline
Yesterday I left the school after grabbing some materials and saw a couple of my seniors out running. I was so EMOCIONADA to see them because I’m not going to see them in person for a while. I miss you guys! Check out this song. Here’s to you seniors ❤️
Abby Bannon, a senior at Crawfordsville High School, wrote a song about the memories and milestones the class of 2020 will miss because of the #coronavirus. https://t.co/IcP5BvVkJQ
Zoom meeting with other language teachers to share online ideas!
Online teaching day 1 went like this: One DaMoude gritó (yelled) at the other DaMoude and was very frustrada at her for not knowing how to use her computadora. Guess who did what. @SDamoude
Played a modified Pictionary game in class today!! They did a great job using their Spanish to describe the picture they were seeing to their partner to draw! 👩🎨 👨🏻🎨🧑🏽🎨
