I care about truth and freedom. Jesus said โ I am the way, the Truth and the Life. No man cometh unto the Father but by Meโ. God give me grace to trust you ๐
@barreira_tony@JeffreyRWRath Nothing free about it. Itโs more like DeathCare. Maid if you wish and in times of pandemic, get ventilated to eternity. Sick world we live in.
Modern Israel (the state) has nothing to do with Biblical Israel? That is absolutely wrong!!!
Another big misunderstanding. What is the current Israel? That is a direct continuation of the Jewish people that begins with Abraham, 2000 years before Christ. That has developed, that has received the land from the Most High. That had the city of Jerusalem and the temple. That temple was destroyed, that Jewish people were expelled from the land of Israel twice. The first time between 500 and 600 before Christ, that is what we call the Babylonian exile. Then the Babylonians razed the city and the temple to the ground and carried away the Jews. They were later allowed to return.
Then came the second temple. It was then destroyed by the Romans, the city and the temple were razed to the ground, and the Jews were taken into exile for the second time. Although over the course of the last 2000 years, there have always been Jews living in Israel. It was their land. So they are simply descendants of that Jewish people that you find in the Bible.
But the current state of Israel is a secular state? While the Biblical Israel lived closer to God? Then you should read your Bible carefully. The books of Kings and Chronicles. Then you will see how 'close' that people lived to God. They were a stubborn people, the Bible itself says. They always followed the other gods, and they always ignored God. And they always sought it in political alliances with the powers of their day. The scorching words of the prophets were always there, and the disobedient son was chastised by the Most High. So Israel has never been a pious people. Yes, deeply connected to the Most High, that is true. They did realize who their Father was. Just like you yourself may throw your head in the wind as a child... you know who your father is, but you always know better.
But the fact that they are still the same people, in the same country, does not mean that you applaud everything that the state of Israel does. That is not the point at all. It also means that ( Isaiah 43:5 ) when God gathered them again from the four corners of the earth, from north, south, east, west back to the land, and they grew again in that land as a people, then at a certain point you have to choose: we now live here as a people in a country, what form of government do we choose? A dictatorship, or an oligarchy, or a democracy, or a theocracy? They have chosen a democracy according to the Western model. Is that the absolute best form of government according to the Bible? No, that is theocracy. That you are led by God, and obey Him. So that Israel still has a long way to go, to grow into what they must ultimately become, namely a light for the nations under the leadership of the Messiah of Israel, that is clear.
What the Bible teaches you and what Israel must learn, is that you must listen to how God sees it, and that you try to do that. That is also the deepest meaning of the Torah. That you will realize, also in your national existence, how you can create a just, peaceful and safe society, under His leadership and with leaders who deeply realize that they are accountable to Him.
@ABDanielleSmith@ikwilson Long long gone are the days of political leaders who have character and legitimacy. Follow the money now to see what theyโre up to.
@JasonLavigneAB We canโt become independent fast enough. I quit calling myself Canadian when PETrudeau was PM. Not in my wildest dreams/nightmares did I think this sick country could become this evil and distorted beyond recognition.
Please share this for progressive Canadians back East...
Greetings progressive Easterners. I have noticed that some of you are quite upset and even enraged by the current quest of many Albertans to have Alberta leave Canada.
Now hear me out.
If you consider it, you're taking this all wrong. Consider the progressive utopian paradise that Canada could be if "polluting", "knuckle-dragging", "bigoted", "backward" conservative Alberta was gone! I mean, that is what you think about us, right? I see those descriptions of us every day on social media, so imagine how great it'll be for y'all once we're no longer holding back your progressive goals and dreams!
With Alberta gone (maybe with Saskatchewan too if you're lucky) there will be no stopping your heart's most desired policies from coming true. Without us there could be:
โ unlimited diversity and immigration
โ true Net Zero with heavy taxes for CO2 emissions
โ collective rights over individual rights
โ severe hate speech laws
โ gun confiscation
โ almost no more conservative politicians
All this and much more can be yours for the low price of zero dollars. Just let us Albertans ride off into the sunset and your dreams will become reality.
So, turn that frown upside down!
Contemplate your amazing future without Albertans bumming you out constantly. There's no need to be upset about Alberta's independence petition. You're going to get what you said you always wanted: a country where progressives will be in charge, forever.
That is what you want, right?
Thanks for your kind attention, and future support for Alberta's independence from Canada.
At this moment, 25-Nov-2025 @ 16:59, 87.0% of Alberta's electricity is being produced by fossil fuels. Wind is at 19.8% of capacity and producing 9.9% of total generation, while solar is at 0.2% of capacity and producing 0.0% of total generation. At the same time, we are importing 323 MW, which is 2.8% of the total generation of 11372 MW.
