@IanFromNorfolk@Sstampcomms@X Stampy was second. I got mine at 9:03 this morning. I will take my solace when I go to work with my highlighter this evening. Well played guys.
@Sstampcomms@IanFromNorfolk@RadioTimes I'm taking the crown back from East Anglia this year. (And just to say - eldest daughter and I did our Christmas cake last week so this was very timely!).
Would you trust the running of your council to an 18 year old?
Well, that's what's just happened in Warwickshire, where the recently elected council leader has already resigned - leaving George (18) in charge of £500 million of taxpayer money.
Reform are not a serious Party.
@s8mb The emails from the schools. If a day went by without a bloody email from one of the two schools that my kids go to I would worry that nuclear war had broken out. And you have to read them because every now and then there is something important that you wouldn't want to miss.
This is a very interesting question. Very often I hear parenthood being described as though it is a project and an all consuming and intensive one at that as opposed to something to be enjoyed.
"Are we too pro-natal in a way that has made us low-fertility societies? Because now what it means to be pro-child is to treat your children so well you can’t imagine having more than 2 or 3 of them.’ ”
Fascinating point in Matthew Parris column:-

@LoftusSteve He's right. In 2021 elections for Cumbria, North Yorkshire and Somerset were postponed to 2022 for the same reason this government has postponed some elections this year. The Covid postponement was in 2020.
@MartinSLewis This is Rachel Reeves herself describing employers’ national insurance in an earlier debate when she was shadow chancellor. It would be hard for her to now argue that she doesn’t think it is a tax on working people.
Rachel Reeves in 2021 - rises to employers’ national insurance will “make each new recruit more expensive and increase the costs to business”.
“The decision to saddle employers and workers with the jobs tax takes money out of people’s pockets when our economic recovery is not yet established or secure and only adds to the pressure on businesses after a testing year and a half. When all other costs are going up—the costs of energy and of supplies—these tax rises are only hitting them harder.” https://t.co/P7TMXCPrDK
My parents, my wife’s parents and most over sixties I know are in that orange left hand column. Those ‘under occupied’ rooms are where their grandchildren sleep when they’re visiting. A heinous over indulgence that should be forsaken rather than just building some more houses.
A major reform like this could encourage a more efficient use of the existing stock with huge number of under-occupied homes currently held by retired homeowning couples who lack the incentives to downsize as show by @_StefanHorn https://t.co/w3q0JUQGXO
@SimonMagus@AnyaM8_ There is nothing dumb happening in this video. It would appear that having fun in the sun is now another low status activity and therefore ‘dumb’ to the high status folk on this website.
After today's speeches and having heard from all of the candidates at least twice over the past four days in Birmingham it's got to be James Cleverly for me. Hopefully MPs will put James through to the final two so that I can cast my vote for him.
@albieamankona@BorisJohnson 100% agree with you.
Plus it’s mad to set it out like this with no context. As if results when up against Blair are in any way comparable to results v Corbyn.
Or no reflection in change of votes or vote share.
