@gblaire @BarrySGraham You are correct. The language should have been in the original acceptance of the money, not in a contract with the hotel. Business owner shouldn't be liable for city performance.

@DubauskasJan @BarrySGraham Because the hotel owner should not be legally responsible for the performance of the city. Clearly you have no understanding of contract law. That motion should have been made the prior meeting when the city accepted the money.

I spoke at this week's City Council Meeting about Councilmember Graham's false attacks on his colleagues. Residents' expressing views and telling elected officials and staff when they don't like something is fine. His behavior is not.

@BarrySGraham What hubris to suggest that if someone comes to a different conclusion, they didn't listen to residents. There were as many pro speakers as anti speakers, plus the largest adjacent neighborhood association supported it. Apparently you only listen to some of the residents.

@JosephChaplik Spare the outrage. It was a one-day protest against the GOP putting in a new rule requiring 16 GOP reps to approve bringing a bill to the floor. So 27% of our house can stop 73% from doing something. You sir are a hypocrite.

Last night's had water, STRs and a new development on the agenda. Apparently those aren't important issues for you. Just getting elected is.

@BarrySGraham What about business, management and leadership experience? The city has a $2 billion dollar budget and thousands of employees/volunteers. Knowing how to lead and manage are far more important than "political" experience. The last thing we need is another political beast.
