Today we visited RSPB Dungeness Nature Reserve to see the Denge Sound Mirrors. These giant concrete structures, built between 1928 and 1935, were intended as early warning listening devices to help detect sounds of incoming enemy planes 🩺✈️👂

Updates like this are sad. As artists/performers we get a very different treatment at festivals & I had no idea water was usually banned. Not allowing people to take it in because some will sneak in spirits is ridiculous. Yes folk hide drinks but people still buy from the bars
