That's true, but most of those jobs, taxes, and economic benefits are created in the country where the car was designed, built, and sold not necessarily in Nigeria. Buying an imported luxury car isn't the same as investing in a local business that creates long-term jobs and keeps more money circulating in our own economy.

@DanielRegha If every car served the exact same purpose to everyone, luxury brands wouldn't exist. For some, it's just transportation for others it's engineering, status, or a hobby. People simply value different things.
@DanielRegha People value different things. To some, a luxury car is a reward for years of hard work; to others, investing that money elsewhere makes more sense. Both views can exist.
@DanielRegha The bigger question is whether we should expect celebrities to solve public problems, or expect governments and institutions to do that. π€
