90. PREPARING NOW MEANS BEING READY TO ACT.
We have learned to understand the world.
To connect intelligences.
To share knowledge beyond borders.
To transform matter.
To recognize the responsibility of nations.
But one question remains:
WHAT IF THE GREATEST OBSTACLE IS NO LONGER A LACK OF RESOURCES, BUT THE WAY WE SEE THE WORLD?
Geulah is not an improved version of our civilization.
It is the revelation of its ultimate purpose: a world where the Divine Presence is no longer concealed, where the knowledge of G-d permeates reality itself (Tanya, ch. 36; Isaiah 11:9).
The Rebbe teaches that preparing for the coming of Moshiach is not an abstract form of waiting. It must become the central focus of our mission and permeate every dimension of our activities (Sicha, Shabbat Chayei Sarah, 25 Marcheshvan 5752).
And he calls upon us to open our eyes: to recognize that we can already begin to see the world in the light of Geulah (โOpen Your Eyes and See,โ 5752).
This does not mean that Redemption has already been fully realized.
It means that we must no longer organize our lives as though they had no direction.
Study Torah.
Fulfill Mitzvot.
Increase Tzedakah.
Spread awareness of the Seven Noahide Laws.
Educate toward justice and kindness.
Not to replace the future with our own inventions.
But to prepare, in the present, the place we make for it.
GEULAH IS NOT ONLY WHAT WE ARE WAITING FOR.
IT MUST TRANSFORM WHAT WE CHOOSE TO ACCOMPLISH TODAY.
We have understood the purpose.
We have identified the means.
NOW, PREPARING IS NO LONGER ENOUGH: IT IS TIME TO ACT.

89. PREPARING THE WORLD BECOMES A SHARED RESPONSIBILITY.
Geulah does not concern Israel alone.
It heralds a transformation of all humanity.
But how can we prepare the nations for the coming of Moshiach?
The Rebbe provides a concrete direction: spreading awareness of the Seven Noahide Laws, the foundations of universal moral conduct.
On his birthday, 11 Nissan 5743 (1983), the Rebbe emphasizes this responsibility toward the nations and its connection to preparing the world for Redemption (Sicha of 11 Nissan 5743; Rambam, Hilchot Melachim 8:10).
THE 11TH OF NISSAN IS MORE THAN A DATE ON THE JEWISH CALENDAR.
It is also a date whose educational message has crossed borders.
In 1978, President Jimmy Carter proclaimed โEducation Day, U.S.A.โ in honor of the Rebbeโs birthday.
Since then, successive American presidents have renewed this recognition.
In 1984, Ronald Reagan explicitly referred to the Seven Noahide Laws as a foundation for universal moral values (Presidential Proclamation, April 13, 1984).
This connection is essential.
Education is not merely about transmitting knowledge.
It must also shape human beings capable of justice, respect, and responsibility.
The Torah entrusts Israel with a particular mission; it also recognizes the nationsโ own responsibility before the Creator.
The Rambam describes Moshiach as the one who will lead the world to serve G-d together (Hilchot Melachim 11:4; Zephaniah 3:9).
GEULAH DOES NOT ERASE THE NATIONS.
IT OPENS THE WAY FOR HUMANITY TO SHARE A COMMON PURPOSE.
Preparing the world means taking action today so that every nation can fulfill its part.

89. PRรPARER LE MONDE DEVIENT UNE RESPONSABILITร PARTAGรE.
LE 11 NISSAN NโEST PAS SEULEMENT UNE DATE DU CALENDRIER JUIF.
Education Day, U.S.A.

88. BUSINESSES ARE BEGINNING TO CARRY A GREATER RESPONSIBILITY.
A business can build, invest, produce, and transform the material world.
But what is it truly preparing?
THE WORLD DOES NOT SIMPLY NEED MORE POWER.
IT NEEDS THAT POWER TO SERVE A HIGHER PURPOSE.
The Rebbe shares a profound teaching:
โThe ultimate purpose of Creation is the revelation of Divinity. The world must become a dwelling place for G-d, suited to Him. Nevertheless, G-dโs true desire is not merely to reveal Himself. He also desires that this revelation come about through human effort.
It follows that the ultimate purpose of Creation is now in human hands. People must contribute their own efforts to bring Moshiach. Much of what is accomplished today remains hidden. When Moshiach comes, humanity will appreciate the fruits of its efforts.โ
(Hayom Yom, 3 Menachem Av; Likkutei Dibburim, vol. 1, pp. 184
These words place Moshiach at the heart of our responsibility.
His coming is not a reason to remain spectators.
The Rebbe emphasizes the necessity of our efforts.
What, then, do capital, businesses, technologies, and resources become?
Means of taking action in this physical world.
Working with integrity.
Supporting Tzedakah.
Building for future generations.
Making knowledge accessible.
Performing Mitzvot.

LE MONDE NโATTEND PAS SEULEMENT DAVANTAGE DE PUISSANCE.
IL ATTEND QUE CETTE PUISSANCE SERVE UNE FINALITร.
ยป
(Hayom Yom, 3 Menaโhem Av ; Likouteรฏ Dibbourim, tome 1, p. 184โ185).

87. PREPARING THE WORLD REQUIRES MORE THAN IDEAS.
Yesterday, on the 7th of Marcheshvan, we spoke about rain descending to nourish the earth.
Today, the 8th of Marcheshvan 5787 (October 19, 2026), a new question emerges.
WHAT BECOMES OF A BLESSING IF NOTHING IS PREPARED TO RECEIVE IT?
Rain can fall.
But without cultivated soil, irrigation, and human effort, its potential remains untapped.
The same is true of knowledge.
Our generation possesses extraordinary capabilities.
Energy.
Infrastructure.
Electrical grids.
Water and transportation.
Smart buildings.
Data centers.
Communication technologies.
But no discovery can transform the world sustainably unless it becomes part of reality.
AN IDEA CAN ILLUMINATE THE FUTURE.
ONLY ACTION BEGINS TO BUILD IT.
From the beginning of Creation, humanity receives a mission: to cultivate and protect the Garden (Genesis 2:15).
The Torah does not merely ask us to contemplate the world.
It entrusts us with the responsibility to act within it.
Our Sages teach: โThe essential thing is not study, but actionโ (Pirkei Avot 1:17).
This principle takes on profound meaning in Chassidic teachings.
The Tanya explains that the purpose of Creation is to make this physical world a dwelling place for G-d (Tanya, ch. 36).
The Rebbe teaches that this purpose is fulfilled precisely within our world, through concrete actions that transform matter into an instrument for good.
Today, this invites us to see our infrastructure differently.
Energy can sustain life.
Water can nourish communities.
Buildings can provide shelter.
Networks can bring people closer.
Technology can support education.
But their value depends on the purpose they serve.
Preparing the world is therefore not simply imagining what it could become.
It means beginning to give it the means to become that reality.
A VISION DOES NOT PREPARE THE WORLD UNTIL IT BEGINS TO TAKE SHAPE IN REALITY.

87. PRรPARER LE MONDE EXIGE DAVANTAGE QUE DES IDรES.
Aujourdโhui, 8 MarโHechvan 5787 (19 octobre 2026), une nouvelle question apparaรฎt.
QUE DEVIENT UNE BรNรDICTION SI RIEN NโEST PRรPARร POUR LโACCUEILLIR ?
Notre gรฉnรฉration dispose de capacitรฉs extraordinaires.
รnergie.
Infrastructures.
Rรฉseaux รฉlectriques.
Eau et transports.
Bรขtiments intelligents.
SEULE LโACTION COMMENCE ร LE CONSTRUIRE.
Aujourdโhui, cela nous invite ร regarder autrement nos infrastructures.
UNE VISION NE PRรPARE PAS LE MONDE TANT QUโELLE NE PREND PAS FORME DANS LA RรALITร.

86. KNOWLEDGE MUST NO LONGER REMAIN TRAPPED BEHIND BORDERS.
On Friday, we discovered how different intelligences can combine their capabilities.
Today, another question emerges:
WHAT IS THE VALUE OF KNOWLEDGE IF IT CANNOT REACH THOSE WHO NEED IT?
Our generation has extraordinary tools.
Instant translation.
Distance learning.
Artificial intelligence.
Digital libraries.
Global communication.
Knowledge can cross borders and reach people who were once isolated.
But transmitting words does not yet mean transmitting wisdom.
Today is the 7th of Marcheshvan 5787 (October 18, 2026).
Every year, this date in the Hebrew calendar reminds us of a remarkable teaching.
In Israel, we begin asking for rain in our prayers:
โVETEN TAL OUMATAR LIVRACHA.โ
Why wait fifteen days after Sukkot?
To allow the last pilgrim to return home without being hindered by rain (Mishnah, Taโanit 1:3; Taโanit 10a).
AN ENTIRE COMMUNITY WAITS FOR THE ONE WHO IS STILL ON THE JOURNEY.
This concern for every individual echoes the Rebbeโs emphasis on spreading Torah and Chassidic teachings to even the most distant places.
Today, this invites us to rethink how knowledge is shared.
Making information available is not enough.
It must be understandable, accessible, and capable of guiding decisions.
Translation must open the door to understanding.
Technology must make learning easier.
Knowledge must become action.
Rain does not fall to remain suspended in the sky.
It descends to nourish the earth.
Likewise, wisdom must not remain confined within the systems that contain it.
It must reach human reality.
KNOWLEDGE BECOMES A BLESSING WHEN IT CAN BE RECEIVED, UNDERSTOOD, AND SHARED.

86. LA CONNAISSANCE NE DOIT PLUS RESTER PRISONNIรRE DES FRONTIรRES.
Vendredi, nous avons dรฉcouvert comment diffรฉrentes intelligences peuvent unir leurs capacitรฉs.
Aujourdโhui, une autre question apparaรฎt :
ร QUOI SERT UNE CONNAISSANCE SI ELLE NE PEUT PAS ATTEINDRE CEUX QUI EN ONT BESOIN ?
Notre gรฉnรฉration dispose de moyens extraordinaires.
Traduction instantanรฉe.
Enseignement ร distance.
Intelligence artificielle.
Bibliothรจques numรฉriques.
Communication mondiale.
ยซ VETEN TAL OUMATAR LIVRAKHA ยป.
Pourquoi attendre quinze jours aprรจs Soukot ?
UNE COMMUNAUTร ENTIรRE ATTEND POUR CELUI QUI EST ENCORE EN CHEMIN.

85. KNOWLEDGE IS BEGINNING TO BECOME A COLLECTIVE CAPABILITY.
Yesterday, we asked a question: who should direct artificial intelligence?
Today, another transformation is emerging.
INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS NO LONGER OPERATE ONLY IN ISOLATION.
Some models analyze. Others verify. Systems exchange results, coordinate tasks, and explore solutions together.
World Models seek to represent certain mechanisms of the world. Multi-agent systems distribute tasks among different tools.
A new capability is emerging: connecting different skills to accomplish what none could achieve alone.
But multiplying connections does not, by itself, create direction.
COORDINATION IS NOT YET WISDOM.
The Torah presents a remarkably relevant example.
To build the Mishkan, each person contributes something different: materials, craftsmanship, intelligence, and work. Together, they create a shared achievement (Exodus 35
The Rebbe teaches that diverse contributions can reveal a deeper unity: every ability has its place within a greater whole (Likkutei Sichot, vol. 21, p. 258).
This teaching concerns human beings first. Applying it to intelligent systems is a contemporary reflection, not a technological prediction.
A network can be vast and still pursue the wrong purpose.
Countless machines can produce answers without producing responsibility.
Human beings must still define objectives, verify results, and take responsibility for the consequences.
As Shabbat approaches, one idea becomes especially meaningful: six days of activity find their direction in a day devoted to what truly matters.
THE POWER OF THE WHOLE IS NOT MEASURED ONLY BY WHAT IT CAN DO.
BUT BY THE DIRECTION WE GIVE IT.

84. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FORCES US TO REDEFINE OUR RESPONSIBILITY.
Yesterday, we discovered how communication allows knowledge to travel across the world.
Today, a new frontier emerges.
Machines no longer simply transmit information.
They can analyze, translate, recognize, generate, and assist with certain decisions.
Tasks that once took hours can now be completed in moments.
But one fundamental question remains:
IF A MACHINE CAN PRODUCE AN ANSWER, WHO MUST TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ITS CONSEQUENCES?
The Alter Rebbe explains that human intelligence has the ability to grasp and internalize knowledge (Tanya, ch. 5).
These systems process immense amounts of information.
But calculating an answer does not mean determining its moral value.
And producing a decision does not mean taking responsibility for it.
The Rebbe teaches that material and technological tools can be directed toward a spiritual purpose: doing more good and transforming the world.
This reflects the purpose explained in the Tanya: to make this world a dwelling place for G-d (Tanya, ch. 36).
Artificial intelligence can help improve healthcare.
Enhance learning.
Improve organization.
Accelerate research.
Make knowledge more accessible.
But it can also amplify errors, manipulation, and injustice.
THE POWER OF A SYSTEM DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT IT WILL BE USED RIGHTLY.
This is why human responsibility does not disappear with automation.
It becomes more demanding.
We must set the goals, verify the results, and answer for the consequences.
Preparing the world does not mean surrendering our power to decide.
It means learning to direct new capabilities toward a higher purpose.
THE MORE CAPABLE MACHINES BECOME,
THE MORE HUMANITY MUST KNOW WHAT IT WANTS TO ACCOMPLISH.
