#EAGLEact won’t reshuffle any GC. It ends discrimination on one’s country of birth & make the system fair for all. Due to the flawed country caps, people who paid Billions $$ over decaades in Taxes, Social Security, Medicaid & Medicare are leapfrogged by people who have paid 0️⃣
@DanielDiMartino@David_J_Bier America ends up benefitting from “nonimmigrants” without affording them certainty.
I feel if the government cannot afford longterm lawful nonimmigrants a clear pathway to adjust (more GCs), those categories shouldn’t exist.
After listening to the interview, it felt like the interview has to be deconstructed with commentary since many people including new folks within the community won't know enough context and history to navigate @RepZoeLofgren responses. Here is the vid.

@DickDurbin Dont trust what this guy says. If starts working on codifying Roe, it will take 20 yrs and won't happen Like is 21 yo #dreamact. What a shame 40 yrs in congress. IL you must do better. Bring some change. #TermLimits
The EAGLE Act is good for all workers & will benefit our economy by lifting the arbitrary per-country green card caps to bring down our decades-long backlog for immigrants.
I'm moved by the stories I’ve heard from my constituents about how this bill would help. Let's pass it.
@gopTODD Senator Lee is one of the most trustable and good-hearted people in congress. We need more Senators like Lee. And he is the real immigration champion who wants to get things right for the country, America, and the immigrants. GO Senator Lee!! 🇺🇸
@POTUS 1.5 million people are in employment based green cards backlog from India. It’s Estimated to take 150 years to give these GCs. Please consider serious executive action on removing dependents from employment category and recapture of lost green cards!!
@AlexPadilla4CA Take care of Indians in employment green card backlog by passing bill you proposed on immigration registry change! We will donate big- dollars to your party!!
Manasvi, a Texas resident since age 3, joins @BarbaraCamposTV for @CBSAustin to discuss the imperative to end aging out for over 200,000 children of long-term visa holders.
Thank you, Senator @JohnCornyn, for reaffirming your support. Let’s get it done!
We are appreciative to @UNC Chapel Hill’s Undergraduate Student Senate for taking action to support Documented Dreamers by passing a resolution and urging the North Carolina congressional delegation to permanently end aging out.
