Proud 🇨🇦 CPC MP for Okanagan Lake West-South Kelowna. Let’s build what matters & defend what works. Judge government not by its promises, but what it delivers
On this episode of Finding Solutions, I sat down with Calgary Shepard MP and Deputy Speaker @tomkmiec to break down what Albertans are really thinking right now, how federal Conservatives are making the case for a stronger Alberta within a united Canada, and rebuilding of Parliament- at least the buildings!
Come for the talk on Alberta, stay for the Yiddish proverbs.

David Eby on Wednesday, October 14, 2026: "You're the guy who brought Gordon Campbell back, and British Columbians remember Gordon Campbell."
PSA: Joyce Murray served in the provincial cabinet of former British Columbia Premier Gordon Campbell from 2001 to 2005.
Eby today:
Joyce Murray and I share the same values: strong public services and a healthy environment for the next generation.
Thank you, Joyce. You’ve served British Columbians in Victoria and in Ottawa, and your support means a great deal to me.
The government cannot simultaneously claim that they have "brought immigration back under control" while also insisting it wasn't broken prior.
Otherwise, why would it need to be brought under control?
1/2 NEW: Global Affairs Canada would not have Googled or done an open-source search before granting security clearance to someone like the Canadian woman charged with spying at NATO headquarters, per a top PCO advisor and from GAC head.

When the former Richmond- Steveston NDP MLA leaves her city and travels to Nanaimo two days before election day, it says to me the NDP have written off Richmond and are now trying to bolster their island support. #bcpoli
“We are in the greatest crisis since the Second World War.”
“President Trump is a transformational president.”
“Integration is subordination.”
“We want more integration…to Make America Great Again.”
“Decry a world of fortresses.”
“Let’s build Fortress North America.”
“Our economic and cultural sovereignty is under attack. We are at war.”
“We should form a Potash bloc.”
“They want to break us to own us.”
Now: “Had a long chat with President Trump.”
"I'm going to get a new deal."
"We already have the best deal."
"No deal is better than a bad deal."
Now: "A bad deal is better than no deal at all." #cdnpoli
David Eby is driving around dumping mystery money out the back of a truck, promising to do all the things he failed and refused to do.
His sneaky snap election has backfired, and now he will say anything to cling to power.

A helpful guide to decoding the jargon that corporate lobbyists use to spin for more mass immigration / profit off depressed wages / avoid implementing measures to hire, train and retain people already in Canada:
The NDP, who enacted UNDRIP in BC, are heading into the 3rd round of court battles arguing that UNDRIP should be kept as aspirational. The Liberal gov’t is arguing likewise back east.
The spinning, backpedaling and rhetoric is off the charts
This morning myself and @bradredekopp unrolled the Conservative Party’s position on immigration levels ahead of the Liberal’s release of the immigration levels plan.
Immigration levels must go way down, not up. Here's why. https://t.co/y5cq9agFe1
Twelve years ago, Canada lost Corporal Nathan Cirillo and Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent to acts of terrorism at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
Two proud Canadians who wore our country's uniform with honour, taken far too soon from their families and friends who loved them.
We will never forget their sacrifice. We will defend the freedoms they fought to protect and never surrender to terror.
Since 2015, the Liberals have spent more than every other government in Canadian history COMBINED.
What's really scary is that all that borrowing was done at extremely low interest rates, and now those bonds are rolling over into new, and more expensive, debt.
That's not stopping Mark Carney. He's spending more, and faster, than at any time outside of World War II and COVID.
The combination of massive deficits and a large national debt, with ever-increasing costs to service that debt, is a genuine threat to the economic future of this country.
We've seen this all before too. Guess who pays when the bill comes due? You.
On this sombre anniversary, we remember Corporal Nathan Cirillo and Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent, and hold their families in our thoughts.
We will never take for granted the courage and sacrifices of our first responders and members of the Canadian Armed Forces who work tirelessly to keep us safe.
Today, I announced two new Conservative proposals to lower taxes, reduce administrative burdens, and help Canadian entrepreneurs succeed:
• Increase the GST/HST small-supplier threshold from $30,000 to $60,000 and;
• Increase the federal Small Business Deduction limit from $500,000 to $700,000.
Both thresholds would be indexed to inflation, so small businesses aren't penalized simply because operations get more expensive.
After years of rising costs, trade uncertainty, and increasingly complicated tax rules, Canadian entrepreneurs deserve a break. That is why Conservatives introduced our Economic Action Plan; because it’s time to make it easier to start a business, grow a business, and create jobs in Canada.

Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent was targeted and murdered in a terrorist attack because he was a Canadian soldier. Full stop.
This was no mere "hit and run".
It’s unforgivable the Liberal government is minimizing the sacrifices made by our Armed Forces who put on the uniform in service to country and risk their lives everyday to protect all of us.
Lest we forget.
SHOCKING
This is what Bill C-224 looks like after Liberals SYSTEMATICALLY GUTTED it at Health committee.
MILLIONS of Canadians that rely on Natural Health Products every day are at RISK of losing access because of Liberal bureaucracy that treats NHPs like pharmaceuticals.
NHPs are not pharmaceuticals.
For decades, Natural Health Products have already been regulated by Health Canada, requiring approval to prove their safety.
Now, additional regulations will add hundreds of millions in additional costs and administrative burdens that will HARM Canadian businesses, and Canadians who use NHPs.
Higher fuel costs don’t stop at the pump. Diesel moves our food from farm to shelf, and when it costs more, groceries cost more. Conservatives brought forward an Emergency Fuel Relief Plan. The Liberals, Bloc and NDP voted it down. This week’s report: https://t.co/cgLcCmVDo0
