🚨Ricardo Quaresma on Cristiano Ronaldo:
🗣️ “Ronaldo doesn’t need the World Cup to prove anything. He already has a more complete career than anyone in football history. And if Portugal eventually win it, it will just be another major trophy for him.”
🚨🎙️ Luis Figo talking about Joao Neves comments on Cristiano Ronaldo
“It’s obvious some of the players don’t want him in the team. He might be holding them back but they need to remember what he has done for this country
Young Cristiano wouldn’t have needed anybody’s help to score a goal. He won matches on his own and carried this country single-handedly for years. He made Portugal popular. Cristiano is Portugal, they need to support him and give him the send off he deserves
Cristiano respected the seniors in the team when he got his first call up to the team. There are many players in that squad that are filled with arrogance. What have they achieved? nothing. They need to remember he is the reason why we believe we can win the World Cup. He is everybody’s inspiration”.👏
A Plateau State High Court has ruled that a Hausa individual born and raised in Jos Local Government Area qualifies as an indigene of the area. Justice C. Donglong delivered the judgment in a suit brought by Fatima Baba Akawu and Baba Alhaji Akawu against the Jos North Local Government Council over its refusal to issue an indigene certificate to her. The court held that being born and raised in the area entitles her to indigene status.
🚨 Paul Pogba on Cristiano Ronaldo during his darkest period :
“When the suspension news came out, my phone was full for two days… then suddenly, silence. People I thought were brothers disappeared. Agents stopped calling. Friends became busy. Football can make you feel loved… but it can also show you who’s real.”
“But one name I didn’t expect to hear from was Cristiano.”
“He didn’t call me to talk about football, training, or headlines. He asked me one thing… ‘How is your family? Are you okay mentally?’ That hit me differently.”
“A few days later he told me, ‘If you need anything anything for your family, your recovery, your life call me. Pride should never stop you from accepting help.’”
“At that moment, I wasn’t talking to Cristiano Ronaldo the superstar… I was talking to a man who understood pain, pressure, and loneliness.”
“I’ve played with champions before… but in hard times, you discover who the real ones are.”
Almost everyone in the world is living in 2025, but the Igbos who are the “most educated and civilized tribe” in Nigeria are still living in the Stone Age
