@bg_anon@AliciaStella Because the ride staff have no idea what has happened. For all they know there could be something that could impact the train behind so it's best to emergency stop and bring everything to a halt as quick as possible
@bg_anon@AliciaStella I was there when this happened. Because the ride was estopped when the technician turned up he used a key to open the back of all the restraints. When he did this he left the cover hanging off the back to get round to everyone as quick as possible
@gabriiel_nav @juanfenalgon @anarchybeats @fox35orlando The train was back in the station. Her restraint was still down but she was slumped over it and her head was resting on the bar in front of the seat. She was not responding at all
@Luke4152@jnewcombe1980 Because they don't want drone flyers seeing things? Why should they put fences up when the theme park was open? Because they don't want people walking into the construction site. They know what's possible, if it bothers them that much its down to them to put in place mitigations
I see the drone police are out en masse tonight. The law is clear that it’s allowed, if you don’t like it or think it’s disrespectful then speak to the CAA. Towers needs to adapt to modern technology and put in place mitigations if they don’t like it
@theme_park_utd The reaction to something that is legal is ridiculous. John Burton knows drones exist so needs to get with the times and put in place mitigations to stop drones from seeing the secrets
@JackG1399 @JasonFlavell There is a reason why 249g drones have less restrictions and thats because their weight is similiar to a bird and wouldn't cause significant injuries if it fell from the sky
@JackG1399 @JasonFlavell What if the construction crane had metal fatigue and crashed onto Nemesis? The chances of it happening are low but the harm it could cause is high
@mollieyay@adventurespoons @Coastenthusiast @ThemeParkWW Incorrect. It is possible to fly drones over towers whilst stood off-site and following all CAA rules
@jnewcombe1980 No. One of the creative leads has moaned about it on Twitter though. He should have thought about things like this though and had something in place to avoid it
@jnewcombe1980 Someone has flown a drone over towers when closed and followed all relevant laws and towers aren’t happy about it and loads of people moaning about it on Twitter when it has nothing to do with them. If they don’t like it then don’t watch it 🤷♂️
@nothing6@Jaypeeff It will be from a recent launch. It takes a few days for the 22 satellites to open up and separate into the correct position. It’s known as the string of pearls
@cupcake_coaster Last time I tried the bars at EP on NYE they were closed or ticket only, this was around 6 years ago. My group normally go to Edeka for drinks the day before. We then meet up in our accomodation for a pre-party and move over to the ticketed confertainment event that starts at 9pm
