@bahrdev Default for me where I have more than a trivial single-entity use case. The issues I still see is lack of tooling and I see a new role evolve here. Every DEV can come up with a relational model. But coming up with a STD is more effort, more specialized. Cloud-native DBA?

@vigsson @davefarley77 Containers don't prevent "works on my machine" per se. I have seen crazy effects in groups I have worked with.
In general, with my comment I was more going in the direction of preferring cloud native services over running servers or containers
