I worked with Gareth in Hertford a while back. A dedicated paramedic suffered a sudden cardiac arrest running the London Marathon. This GFM is to support his family while Gareth receives treatment. Please consider donating or sharing if you can, https://t.co/GZTjzaDPFc
Iโm sure paths will cross in the fullness of time but for now, Iโm hanging up that shade of green as we enter the new year and wish all my friends and colleagues every success for 2026 and beyond. 4/4
After 9 years employed, and a total of 25 years volunteering, with St John Ambulance, itโs time for this chapter to come to a close and for the next chapter to begin. I shall be leaving the charity at the end of December with truly mixed emotions. 1/4
The last few years have been brutal but Iโm proud of all weโve achieved for the organisation, its people, but ultimately for society as a whole. The world is a richer place for the amazing lifesavers itโs created. 3/4
@NeillMoloney Our thoughts are with them all, Neill, along with all those affected and their loved ones. Some amazing acts of true heroism from those on the ground. ๐
An absolute privilege to represent @stjohnambulance at @TASCharity Annual Memorial Service at @Nat_Mem_Arb today to remember colleagues and friends no longer with us. Truly humbling event, and so lovely to see so many familiar faces too. They will never be forgotten ๐๐
Today, @stjohnambulance support the @Great_Run in Newcastle. 23 ambulances across the route briefed and ready to go, alongside hundreds of other resources. Have a great day and thanks for being there for the community.

RIP to the founding father of Paramedic Science, Professor Douglas Chamberlain CBE, OStJ, KSG (1931 to 2025).
An absolute legend, father to all emergency medical personnel past, present and future, and undoubtedly the saviour of millions of lives since 1971 through his development of pre-hospital emergency care and implementation of cardiac resuscitation techniques.
You will be greatly missed but always admired and importantly, never forgotten!
