Thinking I post transparently here a bit more about me, myself and my fitness journey as well as charts.
This might be a longer one but I won’t over explain myself, stick with me.
In the last 5 months I became a Dad, moved house and switched my job. It was a busy period. Along with Christmas and countless birthdays in that time period my personal fitness no longer became a priority. I wanted to support my lady, appreciate my child and set up a new house to call a home.
From 2021 - 2024 I was extremely driven in fitness, body building and getting jacked. This all took a back seat for me, and life became so busy I relied more on deliveroo than my training shoes. Not to say I got in bad shape but I slacked.
My fitness goals have shifted from a ‘me’ perspective to a ‘family’ one. Though my boy is only 5 months, I want to build the foundation’s for a consistent happy, healthy family in every area of my life. Seeking the highest reward tasks with the lowest effort ones. A change, even a small one, in the right direction is a good one.
I always used ‘X’ purely as a trading related platform, to research, but now I am going to start posting and uploading more bits about me, show what life is like as an ambitious entrepreneur, young dad, a partner and trader. I’ll see it as a public journal and try to benefit anyone the cares to follow and see what’s going on.
Love and peace to all 🤞🏼
A new Journey begins today.
So I have just thoroughly read the Faqs for @FTMarketslive and Ill be honest, there some really good bits in there that excite me to trade with them. There are also a few that are a bit different.
I will break down what I like, and not, below;
✅No consistency rules on the Eval stage, or the Funded stage.
✅ An option for up to 90/10 profit split if you are able to trade with what they call 'Shield Risk Protocol'.
✅ Specific rules (not all) are not hard breaches. Not every broken rule will instantly fail the account, like some firms do.
✅ Inline with the market, fair, profit targets.
✅ Super fast payouts
❌ 'Shield Risk Protocol' 1% equity drawdown buffer on the live account.
❌ Only a 6% overall drawdown + 3% daily. (This should not be an issue with the equity drawdown.
All in all, the firm seems really good and rules are always there for a reason. It allows us to keep the best risk managers in the game. Seems like a real good firm.
