@firsthippy Yeah, everything else as is. I had more chain drops when I ran 2x with a front mech than I have had with nw. Road bike also has been 1x nw with either a 38t for the mountains or a 50t for day to day.

@firsthippy Have been running nw chainrings on my tt bike for the past 4-5 years. Dropped chain twice - normally a sign that it needs replacing. Don't think there is any real power loss, but haven't seen anything scientific to confirm either way.

@supremerouleur According to a study in the lancet false positives are between 0.8 and 4% . That is per test, given that someone like gaviria would have been tested multiple times, the chances of at least one of those being a false positive isn't all that small anymore.

@supremerouleur Is it? Given that no test is 100% accurate and the number of times riders are tested, the probability of one or more false positive is non zero.
