@Wilnerness Great guy for sure, loved people and always saw the best in them. Wishing him the best success in future, but we can also look forward to something new to spark a very talented team.π₯π₯π₯
So many K-6 students are working on their spelling right now due to impacts of the pandemic on their learning. we can still recognize and celebrate the potential and brain power of those individuals through focusing on their content and contributions. #brainpower#educhat
In addition, many amazing emergency supplyβs have stepped up and contributed during the pandemic. I have been fortunate to see some emergency supplyβs decide to apply to teachers college for the up coming fall. #education#emergencysupply#educhat#teacherstudent
This article was particularly saddening. I hope there is more discussion surrounding the hiring of individuals with degrees from their home countries. #educhat#edtech#ontarioeducation#tyndale https://t.co/c02ktdm8WO
Our students and teachers need a reset for the next school year. Students still need grace but also accountability. They need to be reminded of the rigors of school and how to treat others. In many cases their filters are off and need a refresher on how to be kind and respectful
We can think of ways to differentiate the instruction. Additionally, try to be creative and find different forms of learning other than worksheets. Students love friendly competition and games which can really help consolidate the learning!! #CultureEd
One fun thing that happened organically in my placement class was celebrating all the different ways the learners put up their hands. The students enjoyed labelling all the different hand raise styles and the result was massively increased participation!! #CultureEd#edchat
Haha, this one was funny! At 3PM every day Iβm running for the washroom because we donβt often get a chance to leave the class during the day. Also trying to drink more water, teaching sure dehydrates you!
This is true in some cases, but we also need our learners to experience other emotions in order to maximize their learning potential. We are not in business to simply make our learners happy but instead, give them the teachings on what they need.
