On Fri 16th July Charles Happel yr10 took part in the Nottingham British Rowing Junior Champs. In his time trial he was placed in the Final D. It was an epic battle between 6 rowers. Charles was 4th at 500m, 4th at 1000m, 3rd at 1500m & finished 2nd 4s behind the winner!👏
Don't forget the date of country's (unofficially) best sports day has moved to 13th July. Finishing the year on a sporting celebration.

Our year 7 students received their virtual RM lesson today with Mr. Smith demonstrating how to use the forge to produce molten pewter to cast key rings.
Thank you for such a positive message of support and appreciation. We have also been impressed with how responsibly all our students have responded to the testing, they have demonstrated such a high level of maturity throughout we are tremendously proud of them!
All set for our first big day of Lateral Flow Device testing with 700+ students expected to arrive during their allocated slots today, and another 700+ tomorrow. We're looking forward to being able to welcome all students back to school for normal lessons on Wednesday 10th March.
