アニメの現場から申し上げます。
現在、日本のほとんどのアニメは中国をはじめとする多くの国に仕事を依頼しています。日本人スタッフだけでは作りきれないのです。特に動画や仕上げの部門は本当に頼りっきりです。また原画やデザイン、作画監督や演出、撮影といった部門でもお願いすることが多々あります。
逆に中国の企画制作のアニメでも、日本人スタッフが大勢入って制作することがあるのです。
日本すごいって言いたいのは分かりますが、アニメには日本とかそんなちっさなスケールで作るものではないし、また昨今のネット時代においては、見る人も限られた人ではないので、本当に世界が舞台だと思っています。
今現在も私が作画する上で、その絵を描いた人が、日本人だろうが、他の人であろうが、国籍、人種、宗教、性別、年齢は全くその絵をチェックする上でなんの関係もありません。
そして中国のアニメの技術は素晴らしいものがあります。感性もそれぞれの個性があって、目を見張るものがあります。もちろん、上手い人がいれば、下手な人もいるのは、世界中どこでも変わりません。日本人だって下手な人はいるんです。
どこの国のものだからと言う色眼鏡で見ずに、その作品それぞれを楽しんでいただければと思います。

Honestly kinda of shocked by the level of arrogance and lack of empathy that is being used in this situation

I can understand a feeling of ownership of buying a product but I would've thought there'd be some level of respect that goes to the artist

If you're commissioning art you'd imagine you like the person making it, since they pour a little of themselves into each piece

Not an artist, but as someone that has worked with many folks, I'd feel like it'd be so disrespectful to the people that have lent me their talents
