We run a number of Dancing for Well-Being groups in the Harrogate district in North Yorkshire - dancing can be done sitting or standing. It's great fun!
Dancing for Well-Being is delighted to be supported this year by @Coopuk Local Community Fund. To find out more about what we do and choose us as your cause, please click here https://t.co/nzDdkgmMCk #ItsWhatWeDo
Would you like to see what Dancing for Well-Being is all about? If you live in or near Pateley Bridge we'll be running a free taster session at the Cuppa & Cake group at the Memorial Hall in Pateley on Wednesday 17th August from 2.30 to 3.30 p.m. We'd love to see you there!
Thanks to one of our members - Anne (who knew she was so well-connected!) - we had a very special guest at our Friday Knaresborough group Jubilee party yesterday.
There's not much time now before the deadline for applications for our Manager job - 22nd July. To find out more please click on

Exciting news! We've been awarded National Lottery funding @TNLComFund to build sustainability and reach more people. It's an incredible opportunity, and we now need a skilled and highly motivated Manager to lead us during the next 3 years and beyond. See https://t.co/1MIDhiDc1v
Thank you to everyone who joined Marg, Jean and me from Dancing for Well-Being for some brilliant dancing at the Starbeck Community Day today. You were wonderful! Even our local MP Andrew Jones and County Councillor Philip Broadbank were unable to resist joining in!
Group Leader, Jann, had a lovely surprise this week. The Starbeck group gave her a gift for her wedding next month, saying "Over the past 3 years (forget COVID!) you have brought joy into our lives. We hope this rose "Tranquility" brings you and Nick joy for many years to come".
What a beautiful day! We were able to sit outside to enjoy refreshments and a good natter after dancing today at our Bilton group. Larrie, Bilton Community Centre's Caretaker, very kindly put the umbrellas up so we had the shade we needed. No-one wanted to leave!
We were delighted to have a visit this week to our Bilton group from the High Sheriff of North Yorkshire - Venetia Wrigley. She joined in every dance and loved it! She said she wished Dancing for Well-Being could be rolled out across the country!
