I can hardly believe it’s been 30 years since I walked into the DAV convention for the first time. Little did I know then how significant that moment, and these people would become in my life. The journey has been nothing short of incredible, and I am humbled every day by the individuals I have had the privilege to meet, work with, and serve.

This year was particularly special, as it was the 18th year that my Lt. Dan Band played at the convention, and we were able to share a beautiful song my son Mac wrote years ago. The response from DAV choked me up. Thank you to all for your kindness.

The dedication, strength, and resilience of our veterans inspires me every day. Thank you to the @DAVHQ for your unwavering support and for everything you do for our veterans.
