That’s the whole ballgame.
He didn’t deliver on any of his promises.
He didn’t repeal Obamacare, didn’t make Mexico pay for his wall, didn’t lower middle class taxes, cut the deficit, bring back coal or lock her up.
He’s been indicted, he’s been found liable for sexual assault, and he’s under multiple criminal investigations. He very likely sold our national security secrets to the Russians or the Saudis… or who the fuck knows what god awful enemy.
But none of that matters to Ma & Pa MAGA.
He hates who they hate.
He says every hateful, sexist, racist, xenophobic awful thing they’ve thought for their whole lives and have been made to feel shame for even thinking.
He legitimizes their intolerance.
Emboldens their bigotry.
And that is why he could shoot someone (preferably someone they hate but who’s counting) in the middle of 5th Avenue and they would still send him their insulin money every month.

@frontwish When I worked at a treatment center I decided that all med students hoping to become MD's should work a week at a treatment center before given their degree. They would learn SO much not taught in their perfunctory 3-hr class on addiction.
