oh hey twitter, long time no see 🤭
decided to start practicing my doubles by doing some improvised duets with myself! these are my 2 favourite woodwind doubles to play & although this is far from perfect, I'm working on em 💪🏼
lil snippet of my November show at the @YardbirdSuite ! All Of Me has become one of my favourite jazz standards, had a blast playing it here at this show!
a snippet of Oscar Peterson's Hymn To Freedom- a tribute to my dad, who died 2 years ago today. he loved Oscar, and the album this tune is on was the first jazz record I listened to with him. hope he's listening, wherever he is 🎵
clearly I'm very bad at keeping this account updated, because I forgot to post my newest youtube cover!!! here's my woodwind cover of the immensely talented @itzmartinaol's tune No Love!!!

@drpepperloving @ScottTheWoz Can vouch! I've worked with Andy in a number of settings (including the recital in this video) and not only is he a great player with a great work ethic, he's also really easy to work with!
been working out on some classical etudes lately!!! these are super fun and challenging me beyond what I'm usually comfortable with so I'm learning a lot!!!
I posted a cover to youtube for the first time in two years! new skills, new format. check it out here: https://t.co/nsjuCFDUIC

@jacobcollier thank you for your energy onstage last night, every single song from your set was healing and food for my soul at a time where I needed it most. your music always seems to find me at the right time. many thanks to you and Djesse ❤
@jacobcollier's new album came at the right time for me...if there was ever a time I needed music it's now. relaxing and uplifting, Djesse Vol. 1 is so perfect 💞
