Once upon a time, in a fit of sudden enthusiasm, the eccentric Mullah Nasruddin managed to lead his donkey up onto the roof of his house.

But when the time came to head back down, the donkey stubbornly planted its hooves and refused to budge.

After exhausting every trick in the book to convince the beast, a frustrated Nasruddin gave up, climbed down alone, and decided to simply wait it out.

Before long, a strange thumping noise caught his attention. To his horror, Nasruddin looked up and saw that the donkey was vigorously kicking the roof, trying to break right through it.

Knowing his fragile roof was far too weak to withstand such heavy blows, panic set in.

Nasruddin rushed back upstairs and tried once more to pull the stubborn creature to safety.

But the donkey, utterly set in its ways, refused to listen and kept striking the wood.

When Nasruddin tried to physically push the animal, the donkey lashed out with a powerful kick, sending the poor Mullah tumbling all the way back down to the ground.

Left to its own devices, the donkey kept hammering away until, with a thunderous crash, the roof finally gave way.

Down came the roof, and down came the donkey, crashing hard onto the earth below.

For hours, a bruised and battered Nasruddin sat in deep contemplation, staring at the ruins of his home.

At last, he muttered a profound truth to himself:

"Never, under any circumstance, elevate a donkey to a high position. For if you do, it will inevitably do three things: first, it will bring ruin upon itself; second, it will destroy the very foundation that holds it up; and third, it will strike down the one who helped it rise."

And so the moral of the story remains:

we must never make the mistake of elevating a fool to a position of power—not even for a single moment.

There are aprox 30000 teacher posts unfilled in Punjab schools alone.
Now Since Punjab financial position is not such to fill them immediately, Govt need to become innovative.

Every year around 50,000 to 1 lakh senior educated employees of private sector retire in Punjab ..

Can govt of Punjab offer them fixed contract job in Govt run schools with no obligation to make them permanent till financial situation of state is resolved?

You might find that many will be happy to even volunteer in the villages near them .
