We have to address the idea that immigration is ok “as long as they assimilate”:

- First of all they’re not assimilating, and they’re not going to start just because you say it’s a good idea. Assimilation only occurs with effort over a long period of time. High immigration rates prevent it by allowing immigrants to settle in enclaves and live among their own - effectively just transplanting a foreign population rather than assimilating it.

- Secondly, we don’t want many of these immigrants to assimilate. If they did, it would result in an alteration to the character, and a downgrade in the quality of our population. They should return home instead.

- Third, you shouldn’t allow people to settle here in the HOPE that they assimilate. Grants of permanent residence and citizenship should be rare, and should only be given to those who have effectively ALREADY assimilated - ie have married into the Kiwi family.

This isn’t just me being a racist and hating immigrants, it’s about protecting New Zealand’s people, culture and way of life so it isn’t mixed out of existence. It’s not immoral to say or do this, it is one of our foremost moral duties as citizens - it is immoral not to say or do it.

Why on earth is this exact statement in the India FTA?
“nothing in this agreement shall preclude the adoption by New Zealand of measures it deems necessary to accord more favourable treatment to Maori in respect of matters covered by this agreement”.
Why does a deal that is supposed to be about trade include a statement like that? It is insane that India has a say on how Maori are treated in NZ. "More favourable treatment"? We are not in 1840. But this statement acts like we are. We are the wicked colonisers, being taken to task by India.
A trade deal is supposed to be about trade both ways that benefits both countries. Why does it include clauses about race, citing UNDRIP, and interfere with our stand on the Paris Accord? Unbelievable!

You and I discussed this during the 2020 election, when the Indian population was only at 120,000.

I had met with the largest Indian group in NZ, who were basically asking the different parties, "What will you give us in return for the Indian population voting for you?"

They now have over 300,000 people who will listen to their Gurus as to who to vote for en masse.

It is frightening when you finally see that they want total control over everything -- not integration, not what is best for New Zealand and ALL New Zealanders.

This is blackmail. It is a takeover.
