@mattakersmusic Whoa! Part 3 was the first one I saw on TV on a Saturday afternoon around the same age and it gave me nightmares forever! Jason popping up in the barn window and running toward the lake…terrifying!
@BadMoodMorgado No it’s definitely amped up. I literally just read this interview with Alan Howarth 5 minutes ago and he said he took the greatest movie score of all time and pumped it up for part 2! https://t.co/2cIY5VONLB
@Texasmike So many great movies fall into this category. Plus, there are plenty of folks who don’t live close to a theater or would just prefer to watch at home so they can pause the $165M epic to take a leak and not miss a frame.
@faceuptoit I haven’t had one of these gas station burgers in like 30 years, but I can still feel the weird, stale, rubbery texture of the bun and cheese combo in my mouth.
@Texasmike This argument will never stick because the majority of movies folks around our age watched growing up were on worn out VHS tapes on a 19” TV in a squashed aspect ratio or in fragments over a couple weeks while it ran on HBO every other night. Nothing new.
