Trying to focus on shipping #Android features while every hour brings more war #news is exhausting.
I’m an Android lead working on a local food/taxi delivery app here in Iraq, and honestly it’s hard to act “normal” when the region feels this unstable. Iraq has been getting pulled into the wider conflict, and even the ceasefire news still feels fragile. The future really does feel like a mystery right now.

I come from a production background.
Flutter’s UI is smooth, but Dart + the Skia engine add extra complexity, memory overhead, and native integration gaps.
Real apps aren’t demos — they run at scale, handle edge cases, devices, battery, and platform APIs.
That’s why I still vote for Native or KMP.
