@jnelson99@WellsFargo @CFPB Then they said 'as a courtesy' they refunded me $52.... out of the almost $1000 I lost, I get $52. That didn't even cover the overdraft fees from my debits that came out during this. Insane!

@jnelson99@WellsFargo So after sending a complaint to @CFPB , the bank sends a response basically saying there's nothing they need to do, it was approved. Definitely no admittance of accepting that it was a scam in the response even though they did several times throughout this situation....
@WellsFargo Then @WellsFargo conveniently sends out an email to all customers warning them of the scam 7 days after my claim was filed...so acknowledging it again but still not giving people their money back @CFPB
@WellsFargo Hi Hanj, what difference is a private message going to make when I filed the claim, was told it was resolved (which it wasn't) then had to sit in the phone in his for 45 minutes just to be told again there's nothing you can do...
@swangreg@YwilliamsELL@WellsFargo I had the same thing happen to me and they won't do anything about it. How convenient that they sent an email 5 days after warning of the scam but won't give you your money back.
