jingjing thought jan was lying when jan told her she got casted as wine 5555 🤣

🦊: at first, they had a project for me, right? then they looked for someone to be paired with me, and there were auditions. so they told me they’d call and tell me in two days about the decision. the company’s decision. when they called, i was like, “oh? really? it’s jingjing?” after hanging up, i called jingjing. jingjing was like, “p’, are you lying to me? are you joking?”
🎤: oh you didn’t know beforehand?
🐯: i thought that for this casting, it’s definitely not me
🦊: it was kind of funny during the audition
🎤: you met p’janhae during the audition?
🐯: yes, we auditioned together
🦊: i auditioned with everyone
🎤: paired together during the audition
🐯: during the audition, there was a scene where i acted a bit clumsy in front of them. then I suddenly cried. i don’t even know what i was doing
🎤: or maybe that’s why?
🐯: but k’wine’s character isn’t like this. it’s the exact opposite. k’wine is very composed
🎤: (explains it’s less about the character but the connection and chemistry)
🦊: i think may have been part of it too. when we acted together, or the work we did together, they may have thought it was interesting
🎤: it’s destiny - a destiny we chose ourselves

this pic of jan with the hat was posted on august 7, 2025 which was about 7 days after she found out jing would be her partner. that means july 31st was when jan got the call that jing would be her https://t.co/vYInXK20r2

during bbfanfest last year, around june, she watched the concert with p’tha and talked about acting in a series. that means she knew she would be lal during that time! she just didn’t have a partner yet because there had to be a process to go through first, like auditions. that probably means they auditioned during july, and since july 31, they knew they were going to be paired

‘gmmtv outing 2025’ was late august so yeah, they were hiding it rlly well 😂 or we’re just blind. they likely started filming the pilot + series in early september 2025 because that’s when jan changed her hair

keep in mind, jingjing wasn’t originally in the casting list. jan was the one who suggested adding her to audition to see if it could work. she probably brought it up in july (𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘣𝘧𝘢𝘯𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘵) and auditioned with her that month

jan suggested her because she felt comfortable when she acted with her in ‘muteluv’ (‘𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘭’𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘪𝘭𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘭) but also, she’s mentioned wanting to act in a gl with her ever since ‘h&s’ era. it just never was confirmed

(in case anyone wants lottery numbers) there are both the date and location. let me tell you, jan was the first to know, and it took forever before telling her who it was. but we kind of figured it, because once the conversation ended, her eyes were just suddenly sparkling. good thing we finished filming dao’s scenes 🤣
