I carry your memory with me every step of the way, and it gives me a strength that words cannot describe 🤍
Our FA Cup run continues, I’m reminded that God is the ultimate author and authority. His plan is greater than anything we could ever imagine.
For you, Amooti Oyo 🇺🇬👑
What a brilliant response from someone already "changing things from inside"! A perfect depiction of what he'll morph into in a few years. May the both of you enjoy this rise to the fullest indeed. 👍🏾
Article emphasises his right to make his career choice. Discusses blurred state & govt line in our reality. Even mentions he doesn't necessarily become a bad person for this choice.
the part some of you dont like is the reality the article raises about the govt & state he joins.
These trollers and scrollers don't know that we already have brilliant people like you doing great things around change and transition in the current state.
We need more people like you working for the regime in all capacities.
🚨🗣️ - Sir Alex Ferguson explains the thought process for his retirement in May 2013:
“I had taken real care to keep my decision to retire secret. I had NOT considered retiring before October 2012, when Bridget, Cathy’s sister, passed away.
“On the surface, and in the eyes of the supporters, I’m sure everything seemed to be totally fine. I was in good health.
“I was trying to stay fit. I felt full of energy, even though, when my hip was hurting me, I sometimes thought I’d never want to be seen on the touchline with a cane.
“I loved the club and football, but Bridget’s death changed EVERYTHING. It was a terrible blow for Cathy, because Bridget had always been part of her life. They had the strongest bond I’ve ever seen between two sisters.
“Apart from Cathy and our sons, NOBODY knew about my decision until David Gill came to see me one Sunday afternoon in February and told me he had also decided to retire.
“I managed to keep my emotions in check when I announced the news to the coaching staff, the players, and everyone at Carrington. It was only once I was back in my office, after closing the door, that it all hit me.
“I just sat at my desk and CRIED. I knew then that it was over. After wiping my eyes, I told myself I’d better leave quickly before the news became public.
“Four days later, we were at Old Trafford, facing Swansea City. The quietest moment of a match for a manager is when the players are out on the pitch warming up.
“At that moment, I couldn’t help thinking: 'I’ll never experience this again.' I said it to Rod, and he replied confidently: 'You’ll never stick it out. You’ll be back next year.'
“I was eager for the match to start, so I didn’t let myself give in to regrets or nostalgia.” 🥹❤️

"Became a big club by monopolising the league"
A reminder that in 1974 Manchester United, who were in Division Two, averaged attendances of 16,000 more per home game than than Manchester City, who were in Division One.
Great start to our AFCON 2027 campaign. Unbelievable to play at Hoima for the first time. Thank you all for coming and showing your support. Uganda Cranes Olee❤️🇺🇬🔥
@qataharraymond Even if this is true, your alleged restraint would still fall below a standard we would expect of a genuine friend. The cynicism in some of your comments cannot be from a friend.
Raymond, without getting into whether the alleged son exists, if you were truly the friend you claimed and held yourself out to be, there is a level of decorum you would observe, restraint you would exercise, and cynicism you would avoid. I am judging you only by those standards.
