If he’s alluding to the results in NY-13, this is absolutely preposterous.
NY-13 has more renters than ANY Congressional District in America.
It is also in the 98th percentile(!!) with respect to poverty rate. C’mon.
Just spouting objectively false information and going into full on denial mode instead of facing some harsh truths will surely have no negative ramifications for him down the line.
Something I think is perhaps under discussed is just how bad every establishment Democrat seems to be at campaigning. Like we joke about it but genuinely how did these people ever win an election they act like aliens trying to pretend to be people it’s nuts
If El-Sayed loses the GE the narrative will be “leftists can’t win”
If he wins narrowly: “He was carried by the Blue Wave and almost lost the seat”
If he wins comfortably: “El-Sayed’s victory shoes Dems should focus on kitchen table issues. That’s why I’m backing Rahm Emanuel”
I don’t know man, who is “the Democratic Party” if it’s not the voters?Democratic voters choose candidates, not party leaders. And party leaders need to listen to what voters are telling us - and right now they are demanding our party be bolder.
