Those who resigned from the SNP Finance Committee have been vindicated.
To those slagging them off, you have no idea how hostile an environment the NEC was & how Allison was so brutally verbally attacked by the usual bullies.
Integrity matters & we owe them a debt of gratitude.

“We knew that the head of the Civil Service can conduct a grotesquely crooked and unfair persecution against an innocent man and not only face no sanctions but have her contract extended.” 🌐 https://t.co/7h58PatuoL
“I find you guilty of aggravated burglary and sentence you to six years imprisonment.”
“Thank you, your honour, I will carefully consider your determination and burgle a few more houses while contemplating my pro-burglary policy. I may choose to attend prison in due course.”
While the @COPFS seems to be happy not to press charges against anyone else over the #SNP missing Ring Fenced #ScotRef funds. There has been no answer to why John Swinney, Nicola Sturgeon, Colin Beattie, Shirley Ann-Sommerville & Scott Martin failed to call the authorities over the missing funds and instead offered excuses, denials or silence. Only recently did John Swinney change his tune and claim all that money had been spent and wasn't ring fenced after all or interwoven in the SNP accounts.
Shirley Ann-Summerville was the Deputy SNP CEO from 2013-2016 so worked hand in hand with Peter Murrell. Scott Martin worked in the same office as Peter Murrell and worked hand in hand with Peter Murrell during the Yes campaign 2012-2014 and right up till he was made redundant in January 2025 after Peter Murrell had been charged.
Colin Beattie was the SNP Treasurer for 16 years and never noticed a thing wrong? In fact he claimed there was no missing funds and it could be deployed at a moments notice (plainly untrue). Nicola Sturgeon was married to Peter Murrell and yet failed to call the authorities and claims she never noticed the MotorHome or the new cars? She then told others to stop asking questions about the party finances in March 2021.
John Swinney appointed Peter Murrell as the CEO in 2000 and offered false claims that a loan was to cover "a short term cashflow issue" in June 2021. The police launched a criminal investigation in July 2021.
Next week Peter Murrell will be sentenced for his criminal offences of embezzlement of £400,000 of SNP party funds. However John Swinney has admitted that the £667,000 #Indyref2 fund is also missing. What next? How long will the Police ignore the tissue of lies and the attempts to cover up the missing Ring Fenced #Indyref2 funds? It is after all a criminal conspiracy to cover up fraud.
Finally there's Ian McCann who is the SNP Compliance Officer who worked hand in hand with Peter Murrell on all sorts of Electoral Commission issues and was central to picking and vetting candidates. Ever wonder how some candidates didn't get picked while others did he was involved along with Scott Martin? How could he not notice what his boss Peter Murrell was doing?👇
@DvdHmltn@JNHanvey Trying to be a wee bit dramatic to get clicks? That bus accident was not in Fife, not even in Scotland. It was a bus that skidded on an icy road, a couple of years ago in south of England.
Tomorrow will mark the 86th anniversary of the sinking of the Lancastria, that claimed an estimated 4000 lives.
It remains the worst single loss of life for British forces of WW2 but has been largely forgotten in the UK.
After the British Government rejected a petition I organised and handed over with survivors to Downing Street calling on them to officially acknowledge and commemorate the loss, we instead petitioned the Scottish Parliament and Scottish Government.
Despite the head of the Scottish Civil Service advising the First Minister, Alex Salmond, against agreeing to a commemorative medal, Alex over-ruled them.
In 2008 the first batch of medals were issued to the remaining survivors and relatives of victims.
This is a short film I jointly produced in 2010 for the History Channel about the Lancastria disaster. My grandad was a survivor.

Former CIA officers have already flagged that these will be used for detailed mass data collection and surveillance of the general public.
The biggest perceived threat that Western Governments fear the most comes from their own populations.
Brian May didn't just donate money to animal welfare. He personally purchased British farmland and forests with his own money ~ and converted them into permanent wildlife sanctuaries. He resigned from the RSPCA for not doing enough. He refuses to play Glastonbury over badgers. The Save Me Trust is not a side project. It is Brian May's second career.
Most rock stars put their name on a charity.
Brian May buys farmland for his.
The Save Me Trust was founded in 2009 by Brian May and conservationist Anne Brummer — originally to campaign against the possible repeal of the Hunting Act in the UK.
It has never stopped growing since.
Today Save Me Trust campaigns against fox hunting, the badger cull, factory farming, live export, trophy hunting, driven grouse shooting, the use of snares, and the captivity of orcas and other cetaceans.
But what most people don't know — is what Brian May has funded personally.
The Save Me Trust manages private land ~ purchased and protected specifically for this purpose by Brian May himself. Land that was previously wilderness-deprived commercial forest or farmland. Enhanced. Restored. Converted into wildflower meadows. Protected permanently.
The Trust operates alongside Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue ~ which rehabilitates injured British wildlife and releases them back into the wild through secure soft-release sites that Brian May's funding helps maintain.
In 2023 ~ Proud Galleries presented a £5,000 cheque to Save Me Trust ~ generated from ticket sales and book signings at Brian May's Stereoscopy Is Good For You exhibition in London. Every event Brian May does ~ feeds back into the animals.
He resigned from the RSPCA as Vice President in 2024 ~ publicly ~ because he felt even they weren't doing enough.
He refuses to perform at Glastonbury because its co-founder supports badger culling.
He has addressed Parliament directly. Led protests through London. Fronted BBC documentaries. Funded research. Bought countryside.
A man who once played to 250,000 people in Brazil —
Spends significant portions of his personal fortune buying British farmland.
To give Hedgehogs somewhere safe to sleep.
Thank you for caring for the animals @DrBrianMay 🙏.
@Scotpol1314@WingsScotland Surely not. You don’t mean some of those all inclusive Indy sites like Vote Yes to Scottish Independence & Over 60s For Scottish Independence, what did you do, criticise Mrs Murrell or advocate No SNP 1&2 ? Or the latest, don’t dare support Joanna Cherry, or you’re a mad Yoon 😂
@delboy1978uk@WingsScotland I noticed it was edited. He must have been told that some of the original content could be libellous. A lot of it also reappeared in other Indy, sorry cult groups as well.
@Sorelle_Arduino@WingsScotland DWP & it’s new Scottish equivalent, have fraud officers in most large offices. I’m positive Aberdeen will have more than one Fraud Team. It would amaze you how much fraud they come across with claimants posting on social media about their side hustles & wee businesses.
@WingsScotland@ForWomenScot He’s certainly got big enough clown size feet, which should qualify him for an audition as a clown. By ticking the disability guaranteed interview box & his experience of being a well known clown, he should get a start no problem.
@CallieMac009 Yes, some with specialist skills & knowledge, were brought in from paid jobs & remunerated. Many for less than they could earn in the open market. Greer didn’t fall into that category. Some described him at the time as an office boy with contacts. No pounding the streets for him.
Swinney characterised the fundamentalist elements in the SNP - ie those who prioritised a ruthless uncompromised pursuit of independence as ‘bastards’. Swinney has always been not so much even a gradualist as a devolutionist who would happily sell indy out for a ‘devo max’ con.
Wings actually revealed the truth about the SNP’s membership numbers months before the papers had the story. But fair play, the MSM (eventually) did do some strong work on Branchform too, and Lorna’s “don’t shoot the messenger” message is one indy supporters also need to heed.
