Most people alive today had nothing to do with slavery, colonization, or any of the atrocities being replayed on loop in media and schools. We were born into the world after it happened, just like every other generation inherits what came before. And yet somehow, we’re expected to apologize, to pay, to dismantle our own systems, just to make up for things we didn’t do? That’s not unity—that’s control.
