I was watching content creators who felt free and safe to start and create new things without the fear of a half-baked A.I. making decisions it should never be allowed to make. I was watching content creators who knew they could reach out to human support for issues that could potentially harm their channel and livelyhood. There was new content that pushed boundaries and traversed new territory into the art of media with a generation of fresh eyes leading the way. It got a little rowdy at times, sure. But when a bad actor had to be dealt with, it was done so by a human with a human perspective and human standards.

What do you do when you know adults younger than you going through similar or the exact same struggles that you went through, but it's not exactly your place to give them advice? And they're the kind of people you hate to see suffer because each one reminds you of a part of your younger self. But I'm scared speak up. Scared to burn a bridge. Scared to cross a boundary. But these decisions that are in front of them right now can set them on a better path than the one I've taken, or a worse path than the one I'm on.
It took me too long to become a stable adult who found his place in the world.
I don't want that same fate for any of them.

Where I'm at in the US, we have to pay extra during peak hours (because big companies will always find a way to nickle-and-dime you), which during the summer is Mon-Fri, 3p-7p. I'll convert my rates to AUD to keep the conversation smooth. During those four hours every weekday, my rate is $0.35 per kWh. For the rest of the day, it's $0.27 per kWh. How much did the amount you pay in taxes (percentage-wise, if you have that information) increase to cover it?

There’s currently a vulnerability in Discord’s AI moderation that detects any and all square grid images, such as spreadsheets, chessboards, Minecraft inventories, white & gray transparent backgrounds… as CSAM and will permanently ban your account.

To keep your account safe, I would recommend NOT sending any sort of images anywhere until this vulnerability is fixed. If you are a server owner or admin, I would highly recommend to disable all image and gif/embed perms in your server for the time being.

To @discord @discord_support, this vulnerability needs to be fixed immediately with all false bans overturned. Additionally, AI moderation needs to be scrapped and replaced with humans. This is exactly why companies shouldn’t be using clankers to decide whether accounts should be banned or not. Losing a Discord account to something as unfair as this can be extremely devastating and affect users severely, and every day millions of users are affected by false AI bans. This needs to be stopped.
