It’s been a while since I’ve watched something, so I wanted to take some time out to acknowledge my favourite YouTubers ever! @ryansbergara and @shanemadej

They hold so many other titles - Ghost Hunters, Ghoul Boys, Hermanos Fantasmas, Spirit Connoisseurs.

With Green Room, anyone could’ve died at any moment. It’s these movies that incorporate what a thriller should be all about.

Everything @saulnier_jeremy touches turns to gold. After watching Blue Ruin, I was told to check out Green Room and boy, oh boy was I in for a treat.

It’s a survival thriller done right.

With this and Blue Ruin I’ve noticed @saulnier_jeremy distances from the classic protagonist turns ex-Marine out of nowhere trope. Instead his heroes act purely on instinct, just as average people would in adverse circumstances.

It’s a refreshing approach to thrillers.
