When I speak on a national stage I tell them just how F'd up our sidewalks are in Pgh and that people in mobility devices drive the streets. We care more about trapping cyclists in parking protected bike lanes and saying FU to the disabled, Don't we?

You should ride those shoulders you call bike lanes at 25mph. Then you'd understand why leaving maintenance of bike lanes up to 311 is faulty. And see first hand that you aren't designing with an ecosystem, or with a plan for the future of biking. You want proliferation, right?
