Water is a birthright and NOT a commodity. Water belongs to the earth, to other species, and to future generations. No corporation has the right to control it.
The rise of an explicit oligarch class, political leaders shamelessly using public office as a means of self-enrichment, a decline in living standards, rising inequality & deaths of despair, a collapse in cultural output, truly America is becoming 1990s Russia
“This generation will not be defined by its great games or incredible tech, but rather by corporate greed, mismanagement, and anti-consumer practices.”
Nailed it
I'm sorry but the juxtaposition of a big celebrity wedding shutting down part the city and having access to the highest quality of electricity/NYC resources while there are elderly and disabled NYers who will die today because ConEd shut their power off is so fucking bleak to me
I lived in NYC for years and feel like I can pretty confidently say shutting everything down for the hometown basketball team winning a championship for the first time in 5 decades is quite different than one billionaire shutting everything down for her personal pleasure.
With this news you have to make the assumption that every playstation exclusive that doesn't see a port to PC has an expiration date.
There will be no playing retro PS5/6 games in ~30 years.
There will be no sharing your favs from this era with your kids.
There will be no replaying games from this era of your life.
There will be no walks down memory lane under the playstation brand.
If your fav isn't a big enough game to get a port then it WILL become lost media eventually and you WILL lose access to it. Niche PS titles have an expiry date. With that in mind your time is much better spent experiencing media and creating memories on a different platform.
For the record, I think this is worth destroying Playstation over
Don't buy their console. Don't buy their games. Abandon their ecosystem and force them to earn you back
She’s just another psychotic billionaire. On a holiday weekend. Amidst all this worldwide suffering, the ultra-wealthy still have no compunction. Unreal.
