In Wisconsin, a graduate was forced to stop on stage when his diploma couldn't be found.
That's when the school said a person traveled thousands of miles to deliver it to him.
It was his sister, returning from military service, for over a year. ❤️
On May 29 the City of Cleveland hosted a closing event for Asian heritage Month in the Rotunda of City Hall. Participating groups were from Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Palestine, Philippines, Russia, South Korea, Taiwan, Turkey and Uzbekistan. Pictures and video at https://t.co/SQfhYHoZ6t
On Sunday the 100th Anniversary Mass was held at Our Lady of Lourdes National Shrine celebrated by Bishop Edward Malesic. It was fitting that the Mass was on the Feast of the Holy Trinity because the Sisters of the Most Holy Trinity protect, maintain and glorify the shrine as well as provide religious services and other activities in the diocese and the community. This was a huge surprise to me. The Cleveland Public Library’s One Cleveland civic pride campaign “celebrates the individuals whose leadership, impact, and contributions have helped shape Cleveland’s story and continue moving our city forward.” I am humbled and honored that my sister Debbie and I are included and featured as two of Cleveland 230 "Coalition Builders." Debbie lives on in honors such as this. I wish she was here to see it but she won’t be forgotten. The list of 230 starts with Moses Cleaveland and then Alan Freed, Charles F. Brush, Dick Pogue and other amazing people. In our just released video segment host Leon Bibb talks about us at about the mark, right before Jim Brown and the other Cleveland Summit leaders. Are you kidding me? Watch https://t.co/meVpk17Y9K

Festivities and ceremonies took place all week including a performance by the PIAST Polish Folk Song and Dance Ensemble. Pics at https://t.co/NinsaDLOsl
People don't realize the code in this photo saved the moon landing.
Margaret Hamilton, 1969. Standing next to printouts of the software she and her team wrote at MIT for the Apollo program.
30 seconds before Apollo 11 touched down, the computer began flashing a 1202 alarm. The system was overloaded.
Her software handled it. The Priority Display kicked in. Low-priority tasks were ignored. The landing continued.
Without her code, Armstrong and Aldrin would have aborted.
She invented the term "software engineering."
@Mark25Price@laurapricey Happy anniversary. I firmly belive if the Cavs had kept Ron Harper and not traded for Danny Ferry you would have won multmple championships. I still remember where I was when I heard about that trade. Drat.
@Vince_Cellini@GolfChannel@RegionsTrad Congrats to a Collinwood kid from a St Joe's (way before VASJ) guy. My grandparents lived on Grovewood near the pool!
