Feeling positive today, and I know it matters what happens around them (we need Martinez, Konsa, Pau and Ollie to stay) but I think that box midfield of Kamara, Gomes, Manzambi and McGinn could be extremely exciting, and more dynamic than with Youri and Rogers in there. UTV

I appreciate Gomes doesn’t have the passing range of Youri and Manzambi is unproven in the PL, but both younger and more mobile replacements. Might just need some patience for Unai to work his magic. Let’s not jump on them after 5 or 6 games if it’s not working.

@jonboy_avfc @AVFCOfficial It’s pre-season. This is a chance for the kids to show Unai they deserve to break into the 1st team. I’d love that to happen, and Hemmings, Lynch and Madjo (when he’s old enough) have all made a strong case so far (including Walsall). Hardly any will play at Brighton. Relax.
