@T2Rugby ... These unions can't go with their begging bowl to WR constantly, sometimes they have to be a little proactive. Zim arranged fixtures versus Botswana and Zambia ( still do ) that helped build some momentum. More sponsors came on board, players abroad then took notice.. Voila

@T2Rugby It's up to those countries to up their game and then reap the benefits when they qualify for RWC. Look at Zimbabwe, they were nowhere 6 years ago. They got sponsors on board invested in their youth and now look where they are. Very little to no funding from World Rugby....

@T2Rugby .... they've earned the opportunity to show what they can do on the global stage. It's now up to the other Tier 3 nations to up their game to make it to the next level. They have their regional tournaments to play in, you can't play every team in the world, it isn't feasible

@T2Rugby Are you ever positive about anything? With the Nations Cup, teams like Hong Kong and Zimbabwe are going to get more regular rugby against quality international teams and in years outside of the Nations Cup they get Tests vs Tier One nations. How is that not good for the game?

@Bracken_132 @T2Rugby Nonsense, the issue here is that they will get thumped as their team will be mostly amateur due to a lot of their pros still being in Europe. If you are going to play a weakened team, EP Elephants would be a good choice of opponent. SA "A" will smash Zim and erode confidence.

@epa_tiko @T2Rugby ... than the All Blacks and Springboks combined. The sport becomes more popular in USA then it will stop the rot of the MLR franchises shutting down. USA Eagles fixtures will be better attended and then RWC 2031 will be a success as well.

@MudharaNzou @T2Rugby ... people should actually look at this as a stepping stone to success at RWC 2031. There are only 2 years to go before the next World Cup, how much can be achieved in that time? 2031 will be the time when a fair assessment can be made.

@MudharaNzou @T2Rugby .... Don't romanticize about it all. I have no doubt that the current crop will do their best, but remember a lot of them have day jobs / are not fully professional, that will be a telling factor. Grow the squad, get more games in and success will follow....
