Iv decided to rebrand....as much as I will still be posting about my own personal investing journey...I don't want to mislead anybody.

I'm no longer danhinvesting.....now nice and simple ...danhtalks

As iv grown into this account i do post about all kinds...it will still all be very much investing/business/dad life content.

Just don't want people to think I'm an investing advice account when I'm far from it.

@Runner1187 He's easier to watch if you just laugh at him. Alot of his clips are bait. He does have a very amateur football take. Rooney has proved that on stick to united. He's sat him down a few times. I can tolerate him because I don't take him to seriously

Mark gets alot of stick online. I watch him quite regularly. People say everything is fake and scripted...you cant say this is scripted 😂😂

My personal opinion is that GLP-1s are a net positive. They are saving more lives than they are ending.

The negative I am seeing first hand is people still refuse to strength train. PT sessions are down. People are losing weight now without trying. They know they should exercise but the motivation still isn't there.

It's going to be interesting to see how the next few year develop...I think we will see a full circle moment.

Weight back on ...people back in the gym.

@FaramirInvests Yeh I just don't think the NHS has the resources. don't get me wrong I do believe 90% of people don't need to be on it. Most will admit that. It's been made far to accessible. But we all know why 💰

I'm sorry mate but I have to disagree, if you look at the science behind how these medications work then you will see hunger signalling and appetite control is different person to person. This is directly what these drugs target.

I'm not suggesting everyone has this issue, of course people are greedy and lazy. However I refuse to believe a severly obese person dosnt and hasn't tried to diet. It's similar to an addiction.

Your right for alot of people but not everyone.

@FaramirInvests I think a lot of people can be put into that bracket. But I will always defend actual obese people who want to make a change but cannot control their appetite. Iv seen 100s of cases of it

People using it has an aid to look better shouldn't be. But like anything it will be abused.

It's designed for people with obesity who have a hungry signalling and appetite control issue. Not for someone slightly overweight wanting to get in shape.

I think the long term impacts will come from people abusing it. The weight loss implications rather than the drug itself.

Ozempic has been used for years in diabetics. It's just being taken to another level.

I think the phycological effects will be an issue aswel. The same way a steroid user will always default back to steroids. Can't live without

The industry has been riddled for years, it's nothing new.

Humans lack disapline. Saying that iv seen some unbelievable success stories from my gym members. I'm assuming there's a hell of alot more out there

Hunger signalling is very power for some people. Saying that they should also be trying to create healthy habits to carry with them through life. Unfortunately alot dont

@philluckee I think it's going to take a few cycles of people being on the jabs , trying to come off, then back on them, then off them...before they realise they should try change their lifestyle with it. People won't pay for them forever

Alot of the units are owned by student landlords who have turned the upstairs into HMO's.

They don't care about the shop below, they just want to extort the students above.

A tenant is just another expense so they price them high.

This is a shop unit for let on the high street in my town.

£20k per year for 600sqft

This is before business rates, utilities, insurance, wages, stock ect.

The government wants to get the high street back to what it used to be...this is what they need to address.

Very few new businesses could survive...this shop only opened a few months ago and the unit is back in the market. It's sad.

@phaid3000 Yeh 100%, I wonder how that works if the shop is empty. Are the landlords liable or exempt?
