@BeelerNoel75055@oregoncitizen_ Public meeting law dictates how this works. If you believe the meeting organizer is being biased you can contact the Oregon ethics commission, as for advice on how to navigate the issue.
@elonmusk@DonaldJTrumpJr@VivekGRamaswamy There are massive problems federally, for sure, AND locally. Even small states need attention. Itโs odd to me that large dense states shifted in this election, but little ole Oregon seemed to shift further left?? How is that? Is anyone paying attention over here?
@realdogenews You should investigate FEMA- because they still canโt write checks to counties and states from the 2020 wildfires, in Oregon and other states. This administration should begin to see value of local control- stop giving money to states- go to the source- counties!
Just this week I reached out to the deputy clerk of elections at the SOS. We had an interesting conversation that led me to be concerned about this very thing.
And here we are.
Republicans warned time and time again that this was a risk. The Oregon Democrats refused to listen.
It's also fascinating that the Chronicle asked a Democrat running for higher office for a quote and nobody else - not current leadership, and not a single Republican.
@bynum4thewin was a sponsor on this legislation. When Republicans tried to refer the bill to Rules to get fixed, she opposed. She ultimately voted YES on the bill.
This is simply unacceptable. It confirms the fears that so many Oregonians have had regarding the integrity of our elections systems.
We need balance in the legislature. We need representatives that look out for Oregonians first and foremost. And we need journalists that take a fair and balanced approach to the issues of the day instead of carrying water for the Democrats who have been calling the shots for over four decades.

WW has learned that the Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles, which licenses drivers in Oregon, has mistakenly placed more than 300 non-citizens on voter rolls since 2021. https://t.co/07A310CwPv
@RonWyden Really? How about you get FEMA to write the checks owed to counties across Oregon for the natural disasters in 2020 and 2021!!
We need you to show up and hold federal agencies accountable!
The cost of living in Oregon is already very high. Utility companies just keep asking for more. @PacificPower_OR is again asking for more money.
Speak up and tell the PUC this is a terrible request and to vote no.

Being that the Oregon policy makers seems to only hear @multco I am hoping something positive comes of this declared emergency. I appreciate that @BrimJulia and @SMeieran are pressing for substance and outcomes. #orpol#fentanyl
FENTANYL EMERGENCY DECLARATION briefing this morning. No data or outcomes. https://t.co/JWX55wQs9J @multco. We need real goals, not process goals. I made a formal data request based on Commissioner @SMeieran ๐งต
Today #Oregon#Commissioners met with @SenatorRonWyden. I asked him to work with me on a bill called โRight to Shelterโ. This law, if created, will support street level homeless youth under 17 access safe shelter and program supports, currently unavailable. #orpol#kidsmatter
This is a step in the right direction. Now #Oregon just needs to get its act together and once diagnosis occurs have access available to treatment beds to support the persons diagnosis. #orpol
This is an important first step in finding a solution for the homeless crisis in Oregon. Together, we can continue in the fight to ensure homeless Oregonians have access to the resources and healthcare they need.
Oregon #commissioners representing this morning @NACo legislative conference. Itโs been a fast few days of learning, teaching and collaborating. The power of relationships and shared experiences is invaluable.
Visited the @forestservice today in Washington DC. Spoke w/leadership about the need for a contract with counties, to prepare for future wildfire events. The state should never be the only entity the federal govt listens to. We were heard. #localgovt#counties#localauthority
In DC @NACo Legislative Conference. Listened to US Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack. Hearing concerns from counties across the country - Oregon is not alone in its frustrations of over regulation and lack of listening from federal policy makers.
