1. Sabda Rasulullah SAW:

Barangsiapa yang beriman kepada Allah dan Hari Akhirat, jangan DUDUK pada hidangan di mana arak dihidangkan.

Ini hukum asasnya.

2. Hotel adalah tempat untuk menginap, bermalam. Ia berbeza dengan pub dan kelab malam kerana itu sememangnya tempat minum arak.

3. Ada dua bentuk pengharaman iaitu muharramat al-wasa’il (perkara yang dihukum haram kerana ia menjadi wasilah kepada perkara haram), dan muharramat al-maqasid (perkara yang haram pada zatnya). Muharramat al-wasa’il boleh jadi harus, atau makruh mengikut situasi. Muharramat al-maqasid adalah haram.

4. Muslim menginap di hotel kerana ada urusan dan keperluan. Tidak ada Muslim yang menginap di hotel semata-mata untuk minum arak. Arak pula kebiasaannya dihidangkan di bar yang khusus, berasingan daripada tempat minuman panas dan sejuk lain.

5. Sama juga situasinya dengan menaiki kapalterbang. Tidak ada Muslim yang menaiki kapalterbang semata-mata untuk minum arak. Semuanya ada keperluan dan urusan tertentu.

6. Walaupun Islam tak pernah halang intellectual discourse, tetapi syarat asasnya adalah faham permasalahan isu. Jika tidak, saudari cuma bermain strawman fallacy. Ramai yang cuba mengkritik, akhirnya terjerumus ke sini.

7. Hotel dan kapalterbang (sebagai contoh) adalah muharramat al-wasa’il. Maka, harus hukumnya kerana ada hajat. Asalkan tak bercampur dengan apa2 majlis khusus yg dihidangkan arak, jika mampu.

8. Pub, disko, kelab malam itu muharramat al-maqasid. Jelas di situ tempat dihidangkan arak dengan bebas, termasuk pelbagai aktiviti yang mungkin tidak selari dengan adab Muslim.

Sebagai Muslim, kita ada jati diri dan prinsip. Tidak ada walau satu kerugian jika sepanjang belajar di luar negara, seorang Muslim memilih untuk tidak pergi ke tempat sebegitu. Terlalu banyak tempat lain yang boleh anda pilih untuk berhibur dan bersosial bersama-sama rakan bukan Muslim.

Semoga saudari bergraduasi dengan cemerlang, pulang ke Malaysia, menyumbang untuk agama, bangsa dan negara.

The people of palestine acknowledge and salute each person that has come forward to support Palestine and Gaza.

The zionist occupation and its allies in the West have tried to stifle your voices and deter you from coming out.

But you have valiantly defied that intimidation.

You have come out in your millions across the world to demonstrate your solidarity with our legitimate right to fight the illegal occupation that has been a curse for more than 75 years.

Your peaceful protests and marches give voice to our just cause.

Continue to raise your voices across social media; continue to march and protest; continue to defy all unjust labels and smears; continue your opposition to the illegal occupation until the people of Palestine succeed in their struggle against apartheid!

Hamas has always said that there is no surrender, there is only freedom and justice.

We reiterate this stance again, and just as we ask all the people around the world to continue organising, campaigning and lobbying.

The current developments in Gaza represent an extraordinarily audacious and brutal endeavor to forcibly remove the Palestinian indigenous people from their land.

Israel has publicly declared its plan to commit genocide against Palestinians.

The Zionist entity, supported by Western governments, has conducted a war of intense bombardment, releasing more than 6,000 bombs upon Gaza within the past week.

Nearly 500 children have been tragically killed as a result of the intense bombardment, carried out by the Zionist entity.
