I volunteered to the Office Empowerment Team that is responsible to assist the HSE team in promoting and helping other employees with matters related to Health, Safety and Environment. I got to observe people who are passionate about their work do their thing.

The more you read, the more curious you'll be.

Start by reading or exploring things outside of your comfort zone. It can just be mindless reading to start with until you find something you're interested about.

I kadang2 suka scroll Reels page kat Instagram, tetiba pagi tadi stumble upon a random account buat pottery tapi ya Allah sumpah cool gila terus terjerut tengok 30+ reels sebab macam menarik gila cara dia cerita.

Kalau nak relate to work pulak, I like to just talk to people in the company. Don't stay within your own team and department je. Hang out with others in the company, mula2 kita dengar je dia cerita apa.

Angguk2 kepala sikit, borak2 kosong. Then lama2 you can faham a little bit more about what they do, and hopefully you can see the overall view and that can help you be more curious about how your own work contributes to the overall system.

Buuuut that's just me. Setiap orang lain-lain.

If it doesn’t, place yourself in good environments like volunteering in company special teams and surround yourself with people in your industry like joining professional societies. You might not have the motivation now but the energy from your peers can be contagious.
