Now, before anyone loses their mind: Peterbilt named that truck years ago, it has nothing to do with us, and a president touring a truck plant in Texas is about as ordinary as American politics gets.

But I want you to sit with what the 589 actually is.

It's a long-haul tractor. Its entire purpose is to pick up value in one place and put it down in another. It doesn't own the freight. It doesn't care what's in the trailer. It just closes the distance between two points, reliably, for decades, and gets paid for the crossing.

That's not a truck. That's a bridge asset with eighteen wheels.

So tomorrow a man who spent this year rewriting how money moves in America will stand next to a machine whose only job is moving other people's cargo, and the number on the door will be the one this community has been staring at for years.

Nothing will be said. Nothing will be confirmed. There will be a photo.
