Shaquille O’Neal says LeBron James should chase another championship, not worry about the critics
“I think he’s going to go somewhere he can win another ring.”
“Maybe Miami. Maybe Golden State. Maybe even Philly.”
“Once we’re done playing, we can never play again.”
“You never want to retire saying, ‘I should have done this. I should have done that.’”
“A lot of haters call it ring chasing.”
“But you’re supposed to chase rings.”
“If you chase rings and accomplish getting them, that’s what we call greatness.”
“Those who haven’t achieved greatness call it ring chasing because they haven’t achieved greatness.”
Just saw a Lakers fan say it was a “slap in the face” to see LeBron James take a pay cut for the Sixers.
The Lakers repeatedly emphasized building around Luka, not LeBron.
Didn’t make any sense for LeBron to take a pay cut when they’re paying other role players 2x as much.
LeBron is going all in on title No. 5, and it was the correct move to leave LA.
I thought I was done when the season ended. I wasn't ready to announce it, and I knew I needed some time to really decide, but I was pretty sure I played my last game. I was honest at that last press conference when I said I needed to look at myself and deicide if I still love
Richard Jefferson explaining the real divide with Lakers fans that Kobe fans never accepted LeBron in the purple and gold (per Road Trippin' Show):
"That's to me when I start to see all these people, especially Lakers, especially Lakers and LA people. God rest Kobe's soul. God rest Kobe's soul. A lot of people did, on the heels of Kobe's passing and LeBron, they did not want that spotlight shared in LA.
There are Lakers fans and then there's Kobe fans. There's LeBron fans and then there's Laker fans. And that's where the clash in my opinion. The Kobe fans wanted nothing to do with Bron being in LA wearing that purple and gold because Kobe was their guy."
Lakers fans were like, 'Hey.' But people were miserable the whole time because there was a comparison to Kobe. And that part, they missed out on so much good basketball."

@loloavec27 @WadexJames226@8_24Mambalytics@theblockspot So in reality Kobe only was more impactful on only twice out of those 5 championships he had. While Lebron never had the fortune or Luck of his TEAM helping him like the way teams of Kobe or Shai has helped them.
@loloavec27 @WadexJames226@8_24Mambalytics@theblockspot Championships are a team accomplishment, Finals MVP is an individual award who had a huge impact and lead all statistical category to that championship. And Lebron has more Finals MVP than Kobe, but Kobe has more Championships (Team Accomplishments) So what does that tell you?
@forthefacts Bro so petty 🤣 accept it bro KD can’t win without Steph and the warriors. Can’t even win a playoff series without him. KD good but he ain’t a true leader. Dude’s the weakest superstar in history.
