my first boss used to ask me to explain random concepts to him 3-5 times a day.
Different concept each time
He later told me that this was his way of checking if I could explain them accurately in the simplest way. The deeper my understanding, the simpler the sentences became
"Just move somewhere cheaper" okay so your solution to poverty is... everyone moving to the same 3 cheap towns until they're no longer cheap? And then what? We all move to the woods? This is just musical chairs with rent prices.
I miss when "Tech" made life simpler. Now, I need an app to park my car, a QR code to read a menu, and a 2-factor authentication code just to check my own bank balance. We are over-complicating ourselves into a collective nervous breakdown.

Breathing in hefty lungfuls of smoke as I get explosive diarrhea from salad, the sky turns apocalyptic orange while oil companies drill in protected lands, screwworms are eating cattle alive and the president just paid $6 million for rape. And I’m also able to bet on all of it!
parasites in our vegetables, data centers poisoning the water, flock cameras being built on every block, ICE agents killing people left and right… fuck donald trump and anyone who voted for him
