Today, @coinbase begins the migration of injective-protocol:native to the native Injective network

If you saw the announcement and were still confused, here’s what’s going to happen over the next 2 days ↯

Coinbase is moving from the Ethereum version of injective-protocol:native (ERC-20) to the native version on the Injective EVM

If your $INJ was already on Coinbase before July 20, you don’t need to do anything

The migration runs from July 20, 7:00 AM UTC (8:00 AM WAT) until July 22, 7:00 AM UTC (8:00 AM WAT)

Coinbase will automatically convert your ERC-20 INJ to native INJ at a 1:1 ratio, and it won’t cost you anything

The only reason to move your tokens before July 20 is if you specifically don’t want Coinbase to perform the conversion

Deposits and withdrawals will be paused throughout the migration window

Also, don’t send $INJ to your Coinbase wallet until the migration is complete, as deposits won’t be processed during this period

TL;DR: If your $INJ is on Coinbase, relax

It’ll be automatically upgraded to native Injective 1:1 with no fees

Just avoid sending INJ to Coinbase until the migration is finished and Coinbase confirms deposits have resumed.
