@BergaminiJack The next coach may find lightning in a bottle one out of the first four seasons, then lose everyone to the portal. Without a complete overhaul of NIL resources, very few coaches will have sustained success at BC when you’re 18/18 (not an exaggeration) in ACC bball NIL funding.
@BergaminiJack Pretty much all those guys other than MJ Harris (JZ, Glock, etc) said the only reason they left is for a better NIL opp. If you keep that entire year 3 team with Grant’s development (other than QP obviously), year 4 looks completely different. It was a forced reset for Grant.
@bcfan70 Finishing in 15th place when your basketball resources are 18th out of 18 in the ACC, in this day and age of the NIL era. Context matters, and your last 15 tweets all ignore that context. Maybe give Earl a season or two with a more reasonable resource level.
@brettrid3r Have the donors been giving to BC basketball in big numbers for years? I think you’re misunderstanding how NIL works at BC. They’re not suddenly going to send millions in the door because BC hired the Merrimack HC.
@GoodmanHoops St. Bonaventure is one of the best jobs in the A-10 - ask Woj. Do you mind also pointing us to your quote (any quote, tweet, comment, etc. will suffice) 5 years ago where you said BC should hire Schmidt? I’d assume that’s easy to pull back up if you actually said it.
@keneth_wayne@BoardGeniuses @qb_country They won at #5 Oregon, who had the longest home winning streak in the country. Did you forget that one Kenneth? Also diminishing the Ohio State win is funny when they would (and will) be favored against every other team in the country
