Story of my life.
Life expectancy keeps declining every day because of the things we consume and are exposed to directly or indirectly. Please read to the end.
I recently fell ill and needed antibiotics for treatment, and to my shock, I was found to be resistant to almost every common antibiotic available.
I don’t abuse drugs, I actually dislike taking medication, and I rarely fall sick.
In the past 10 years, the only major antibiotic I’ve likely used is Ciprofloxacin, usually prescribed when I have malaria or typhoid. Amplicox tablets haven’t entered my system in over a decade, if I remember correctly, yet I still showed resistance to most common antibiotics.
I was even prescribed Meropenem and Imipenem, very strong and expensive antibiotics. One ampule costs about ₦28,500, and I needed five doses. (Not like anything serious was doing me, just normal boil but it just keeps reoccurring at the very particular spot.)
This experience made me curious about how antibiotic resistance develops.
One major contributing factor is poultry products (chicken and eggs).
In poultry farming, antibiotics are sometimes used to treat diseases in birds. When bacteria in these animals become resistant to the drugs, and humans consume contaminated or improperly handled products, it can contribute to the spread of resistant bacteria that are harder to treat.
That is why we are always advised to properly cook meat before consumption.
Now you know, share/repost this so others can learn too.
What this points to is a rare condition called Complete Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome, where the body doesn’t respond to male hormones the way it normally should. Because of that, the body develops along a typically female external pattern, even though the internal reproductive organs don’t form in the usual way. That’s why there’s no uterus and no ovaries, and no menstruation.
And yes, she does have a vagina externally, but it’s usually shorter and ends blindly since there’s no internal reproductive connection. It’s one of those conditions that really shows how complex human biology can be, how chromosomes, hormones, and development don’t always follow the “expected” script we learn in textbooks.

لكن الفحوصات كشفت عدم وجود رحم أو مبايض، وأن صيغتها الوراثية هي 46,XY.
I see this from the psychological lens of “trauma bonding”
In trauma bonding lens, that kind of situation is less about logic and more about emotional conditioning through repeated highs and lows.
Trauma bonding happens when someone becomes emotionally attached to a person through a cycle of: hurt / abandonment, emotional intensity, brief comfort or attention. Over time, the brain starts confusing intensity with love.
As the man abandoned her and left her with a child, that creates: emotional pain, instability and unresolved attachment. Then when another man comes in and provides care and stability, she should feel safe… but trauma bonding patterns can complicate that.
If the original man reappears, the brain may: remember the emotional intensity tied to him (even if it was painful), ignore the stability of the current partner, mistake “familiar chaos” for “deep connection” So the return to the person who hurt her isn’t about preference, it’s about familiar emotional wiring being reactivated.

You are the one not making any sense of argument so far in your comments, if it wasn’t for the 1k tips your colleague gives to him, then why on earth would she feel angry he refused to add his 700 naira to buy the tiger nut drink? Don’t dare to twist the narrative that the 1k tips isn’t the main bone of contention. If she hasn’t been giving him those tips, she won’t feel entitled to to his 700 naira.
The gateman is your colleague, and I’m sure nowhere in his job description Include you guys sending him on errands.
@AnyanwuMalachy you are a very terrible person just like your colleague and your comment all over the post says it all.
You think you are doing the security guard an honor by tipping him 1k? Your colleague is not supposed to even send him on errands to start with. The 1k is for his services, whoever thinks the security guard is entitled is brainless and if you think the security guard should have bought the drink with his own 700, you also deserved to be given a head shot with a pump action and watch you drown in your own pool of blood.
Women own na to chop people money, even security guard too
Pheww
Since our new security man resumed work in March, my colleague usually sends him to get her lunch.
She usually sends ₦5,000 to his Opay.
The food she buys doesn't exceed ₦4,000, hence the extra tip is for him.
She has done this everyday since that March.
On Tuesday, as she sent him as usual, she later called him on phone to add Tigernut which is sold for ₦1,700 without sending any extra money.
Only for our security guy to call her, and asked for the extra ₦700.
My colleague didn't pay attention to him, because she was busy at work.
Only for our security guy to come back to the office to ask for the extra ₦700 without even buying the food.
Angrily, she asked him to send back her ₦5,000 that she wasn't interested in the food again.
Now our security guy went and told HR that since this week, that my colleague totally snubs his greetings, and it is making him so uncomfortable.
The results came back yesterday—she has cancer. Grade II Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.
We're still in debt from the surgery. I don't have money for treatment. But doctors say we need to treat it NOW while it's early.
I'm asking for help.
🔥🚨LATEDT: This man tried to show his pet baby alligator at a birthday party while he was drinking and the gator latched on to his finger with lightening speed and held on with a might y grip for dear life as the man groaned in pain during his attempts to remove the tiny reptilian.
This morning, I lost one of the most wonderful people I have ever known to liver cancer.
He wasn’t just a friend to me, he was family. He was the kind of person whose presence could brighten a room, whose kindness made people feel seen, and whose heart was always open to those around him. Through good times and difficult moments, he remained loving, supportive, and genuine.
Losing him to liver cancer feels unreal. I keep hoping I’ll wake up and discover this is all a bad dream. But the reality is that someone I cared deeply about is gone, and the pain is heavier than I ever imagined.
This is the first time in my life that I have lost someone so close to me, and I honestly don’t know how to process it. My heart is broken, and I already feel myself struggling with the weight of this grief.
Today, I ask for your prayers, not only for me, but especially for his family, who are carrying a loss far greater than mine. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
If you have a word of encouragement, a prayer, or even a few kind words, I would deeply appreciate it.
Rest peacefully Ben, my dear friend. Thank you for your friendship, your kindness, and the memories you left behind. You will never be forgotten. 💔🕊️

Unfortunately, this appears to be a severe case of Livedo Reticularis Maximus Ultra Pro, a condition discovered by doctors on Twitter approximately 7 minutes ago. Symptoms include scrolling too much, reading comments, and believing random medical experts with anime profile pictures. 😭
I’m sorry to inform you that you have 24 hours to live… unless you close the app and touch grass, in which case you’ll probably be fine. 😏😏
The crazy reason I broke up with a girl. It might sound fake, but I promise it’s true.
Everything was going well at first. She was funny, beautiful, intelligent, and we got along really well. The relationship seemed perfect on paper.
But…..
She had this weird habit of putting her finger into her anus then immediately smelling it like she was a scientist conducting important research.
One day I finally asked, “Why do you keep doing that?”
She looked at me like I was the weird one for asking, that was the moment I knew our future wasn’t going to work.
Some couples argue about money.m, some argue about trust, some argue about communication.
I was out here wondering why my girlfriend was performing daily laboratory tests on herself.
People always ask why we broke up, and I can never tell the story without sounding like I’m making it up.
But sometimes the person isn’t toxic, abusive, or a bad partner.
Sometimes they just have a habit so bizarre that your soul quietly packs its bags and leaves before you do.
@rtdsinperv@charlestonwhyt And if she knows how to drive, you will gladly let her drive you?
Why won’t you trust a woman to fly a plane after she has gone through rigorous trainings and have been certified worthy?
How do we even justify the lady cheating back?
I have always said it, sexually compatibility is the major cause of divorce in marriages but you guys won’t believe me
